  • Oh my god...

  • 2 legends!!!

  • Great voices----

  • MARK KING THE BASS !!!

  • I love the original version on Hall & Oates' Voices album, but this is nice, too.

  • Yeah, its nice, but Daryl Hall blows em both away. Esp on the Hall and Oates Live at the Apollo album version, with Ruffin and Kendricks from the Temptations on backing vocal. Beauty.

  • 8o I loved this song before, but it's even better now because of George!

  • @japan034

You are right. The concert was called "The Prince's Trust" in honor of Prince Charles who was then celebrating his birthday :)

  • @gracenina17

we are in the 21st century --who the fuck believes in princes?

  • @bocajr4life Then go to Great Britain and tell the Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles you don't believe in Royalty :)

  • @gracenina17 screw them

  • @bocajr4life I bet you would like too!

  • love this tune

  • I saw this concert a long time ago... maybe like 19-20 years ago. It was shown here on TV. I loved it then and I still love it now :P I got a big crush on Paul then. I find him cute. George was like ruggedly handsome and sexy. I didn't know why but despite his manly looks then, it was Paul that catched my attention. Then later, I knew why...

  • I love George

  • Great song brings back alot of great memories!!

  • Just Awesome

  • Check out MIKE KELTON on this song. Go to CB Kelton then to Mike. He is the

    best singer on this song...CB

  • man how time flies!!!this song was just new YESTERDAY,where does time go?????

  • OMG.....two of my favorites singersI LOVE PAUL YOUNG AND GEORGE MICHAEL

  • Hey thanks for this. My dad was working in France when he recorded it on the radio...and I wasn't even born yet. That was the version of course only with Paul Young.

This version with GM really brings something new and interesting. Thanks!

  • GM is a handsome boy too bad hes gay

  • @mitsubishidiamante is this his man?

  • @mitsubishidiamante Amen to that! George is a hottie!

  • As much as I like Hall & Oates, the original version blows compared to the up tempo Paul Young's version...IMO.

    Noah

  • I couldn't see it very well, but it looked like Eric Clapton playing guitar. True??? What was the event??

  • @RogueGank3r Yes, true. Also Mark Knopfler with the headband.

  • my 2 main men in the world!!!!

  • Ooopsss.....Bass guitar was off on @ 0:18.

  • George is such an awesome live performer! Awesome version!

  • ohhh myyyyy look at GM.. handsome devil he is.. makes me want to take my sppon and eat him up! heheheheh

  • de por si esta cancion con paul me encantaba, pero george la perfecciono!

  • 0:08 anybody notice that hand on his back??

  • @Freethinker12341 makes me wonder if there "friends"

  • GEORGE THE BEST EVER!!!!

  • I learned to like Paul Young over the years but how the original off of Hall & Oates "Voices" album was not a hit (IT IS THE BEST!!!) I do not know. Also considering Hall & Oates wrote the song too, not just made it sound the best!!

  • @SuperDude2569 100% correct. Hall & made the only ad the best

  • Ah, back to the days when singers actually sang live in concert. Gotta love it. Rock on....

  • Do any of you know who wrote this song? Cannabalism??? wtf??

  • @lyndae4d

Daryll Hall from Hall and Oates

  • @bocajr4life Yes indeedy. The sainted blond one :)

  • @lyndae4d yep====bad ass from Philly USA

  • Gotta love Blue Eyed Soul....Robin Thicke and Justin Timberlake are keeping it alive...I would like to see them do this piece

  • you just don't need to interpret the lyrics word for word...try to think deep... "everytime you go away, you take a piece of me with you" meaning, when you stay away from me, i never become myself again, i am not whole, something is missing..that's how to interpret this song..

  • I justviewd the video and there are doctors indeed, but they arenot tearing at her. They are just looking over her. Next your going to tell me that the red costumes signify blood at the end right; but can't signify passion. Nah, you're makin git up. Lyrics don't point to anything other than a dude missing his chick.

  • It's kinda creepy to hear people call a gay guy cute as he sings a song about caniballism

  • You're just a Dickhead Mate...

  • Cool

  • Caniballism? You're kidding right? Are you taking it literally?

  • No dude seriously I talked to the guy who produced this song listen to the lyrics not even the chorus listen to the lyrics seriously this songs about cannibalism

  • You're yankin' my chain. I read the Lyrics.

Not even close to having anything to do with cannibalism. Can you explain why you say it has to do with it?

  • Everytime you go you take a peice of me with you.

I can feel your body movin, but it doesn't mean that much to me?!?! Wtf and watch the video some doctors like attack this girl I'm bein serious why would I make this up the song is about cannabalism idk why you all are so suprised there are so many songs that are about terrible shit like there's a nursery rime about rape I forget which one it's called though

  • @Bangmymomplz Remeber the corny line in the movie Jerry Mcguire? "You complete me"? Do yo think the person who said it was missing a limb and is telling the other person that he is going to tear a piece off and replace the part with hers?

I think you've been smoking too much hash. This is the dumbest argument I've ever gotten myself into.

  • Whatever dude your a fuckin moron have fun believeing wat your told to. Your prolly one of the idiots that thinks alice in wonderland isn't about drugs and is just a harmless kids story

  • And too bad I don't smoke anything I was just sayin that's wat this songs about

  • @Bangmymomplz Alice in wonderland is OBVIOUSLY about a girl trippin' on shrooms...and very good ones I might add.

The lyrics and video of "every time you go", however do not resemble or point to canabalism in the least bit.

Just because according to you (ha ha ha) a producer told you that. The dude who told you probably wasn't even a producer.

Man, you'll believe anything. YOU"RE a "fucking moron" besides YOUR grammar sucks. Have a nice life asshole.

  • So your the grammar police? Sorry it's called abreviation for one. And for two I'm using my phone with aittle ass keyboard and I hit wrong buttons sometimes when I type fast. And I guess the guy wasn't a producer hey just produced songs for the band I went in there with as HD gold records on the wall and pictures of him with all these people, and his fuckin name on the front of the place but yea you who weren't even there is prolly right.

  • And If they just came right out and started talking about tearing into human flesh and all it probably woulnt sell alot of records. Do they just straight up say "big black dudes fuckin litttle white girls" in the song jungle boogie? I really don't care if you believe it or not I was nearly stating that's what the songs about and everyone comes on here with a fuckin vendetta like flippin shit on me about it. That's what the songs about just sayin

  • wow this song is just breath taking. Babby Love everytime you go away you take a piece of me with you...I love you so much My Prince.....this is absolutelly dedicated to you.......:-)

  • think paul knew george was gizzay?

  • George is always brilliant live! I miss him...

  • Live AID? Correct is "Prince TRust"!

  • Love songs, and is a wonderful Duet!

Thank you for great video upload.

  • ok, someone help me figure this out.

when i was a kid, I had this taped on VHS and watched it probably over 100 times, haha. I LOVED this song and the whole "checking sides" thing. HOWEVER, I remember George's facial expressions and EVERYTHING during the song -- but on here, all you see is his back!

How is that possible? Were there different angles broadcast...?

  • alien shapeshifters transmitted electromagnetic frequencies into your subconscious and morphed your memory banks so you would think you remembered something that indeed did not occur.

  • @mozmuse hey i got this on the MTV show, its the same but different camera angles and this has been edited too...the 2 of them talked more before the song was started. I like my VHS version better.

  • Good ol' Eric

  • *****

  • is that elton on the piano?

  • yes, it is

  • KAKIP64: Yes, it is.
