Carreras is also wearing an overlarge sweater. This was recordd beofre his illness. He's emained slim, because it is better for his health. Opera singers should absolutely do crossover sometimes as did Caruso to Pavarotti and as Broadway and popular singers do operatic tunes -from Della Reese and Jerry Vale to Michael Bolton, Barbara Streisand and even Peter Frampton singing "All By Myself." which was based on one of Rachmaninov's piano concerto movememts. All music is for everyone...

@sandrik100 His weight fluctuated during the 1970s and early to mid-1980s. Sometimes he looked skinny; other times he was pudgy. After the leukemia, he stayed pretty thin, probably due to all those chemotherapy treatments.
