Not sure about the greatest musician but I've seen him confuse Warren Haynes around 3 a.m. at the Orphium in Nawlens at Jazzfest. Well, maybe the best bass player known to man. I think I like the Frog Brigades version of "Animals" more than Floyds. Bold statement, but very close to true. Just my opinion, but when it comes to shit like that we all win :)

yes.. its krinkle... and I believe there are alot of ppl out there that will never get recognized but its also because a lot of them don't put out the initiative. Some, I agree, really have it harder than others. As for Les Claypool....Always known to me as a Bass God...no questions asked ;)

there are underground bass players you do not know and will never know or hear of who blow them all out of the water. If you live in a musically rich area, there are possibly 50 12 year old drummers within a square 10 mile radius who are absolute monsters and will reduce your ego (if your a drummer) to ash and smoke.. but, you will never, ever hear of them in the mainstream
