Great performance of this 12 yo kid - so goodlooking also - hitting all these difficult, typical mozartarian, surprising scale-changing tones with utmost precision. Also doing it when the piano suddenly disappears: Instead of being chocked he goes on - for ½ minute - totally on his own, and when the piano comes back, it shows that he has kept the tone level e-x-a-c-t-l-y all by himself. Most remarkable.

In response to volley9234, ellieitalia11, and anyone else who has posted here wondering how or why this gentleman is singing so high, I can assure them that this is the proper range and style for a male of his age. Men, particularly at this stage of life, are fully capable of singing in a very high register; in fact, at this age it damages the voice to sing too low. Even later in life, however, the male voice benefits from being trained to sing in a higher range.

I know little about singing or performing in public. But it seems to me that the missing sheet music, and the resulting acappela singing that Will was obliged to do (without previous warning) reveals the boy to be a brilliant and talented professional.

Chris take this advise you will not be able to sustain this choir boy soprano voice for long so you should work on your transition to your new voice. Perfect example of this is the "Choir Boys" (the boys from the UK) they are now split because patrick voice broke. But a good idol to look at is Declan Galbraith watch some of his ealier pieces, (album is called DECLAN) and him now he makes a great transition (his new album is call THANK YOU) trust me you will like.

So you're going to rain on his parade? Trust me, every 12-yo boy who sings seriously knows fully well what lies ahead. Let's appreciate his voice while it is still in soprano range and not dump the future change of voice pressure on him. Besides that it a problem for the singer and his teacher to solve!

This is the true boy's voice, not falsetto. Just because it is high-placed, do not mistake it for falsetto.

I was was reffering to the tome of his voice. It sounds as if it's broken and he's doing it falsetto. I used to do this sort of stuff falsetto when I was 12. At that age I was a tenor.
