Some of the Intel guys went out on quite a few missions and I know that they used the Arty guys as extra security on convoy ops and some patrols but I fucking hated those POGs that sat it the TOC for 14 months and the closest they came from leaving the wire was going to the chow hall and they got their CAB/CIB because a rocket landed on the other side of the compound.

Fuck mail, it's a distraction. Only stuff I ever got in the mail was a few things from TT. Proper food? We've killed goats, chickens, etc., cleaned and cooked them ourselves, not army cooks. Equipment is iffy too. Run out of ammunition? There's tons of bieb stuff all over.

I'm a civilian and even I hate POGs. My best friend was a paratrooper in the Army, did 3 tours in Afghanistan and when he came home on leave he used to fucking HATE it when people pointed him out and call him a hero and all of that. Another friend of ours, is a fuckin MP and he's stationed in the FOB and all he does is do paperwork and snitch out REAL soldiers and get them in trouble.. @ma0ma0ma0 hey pog bitch, last time i checked when little boys are playing army they aint pretending to file paperwork, hand out supplies, or sit at the toc. they are playing infantryman and killing the bad guy you stupid fuck. all you are is a civilian in uniform. i dont mind getting shot at, that is part of the job. combat arms, infantry especially, are the lifeblood of the army. without the infantry there would be no army. we could hire civilians to do your job, but a civy couldnt do ours.
