Speedsterwinston is one of those stupid wanks that only says C.C. sucks because someone else TOLD HIM that. Sad thing is people that started the hating on C.C. are guys that couldn't get laid and thought if they became a music critic they might. Sure C.C. is wild and some of the stuff he's done isn't the most complex, try WRITING it jerkoff. C.C. can overplay when it's called for, but what makes him awesome is he knows when NOT to play so it doesn't take away from the songs. Good solo by the way
Yeah maybe I was a little harsh. I shouldn't have said he sucks. But he certainly was not even close to the upper echelon of 80's rock guitarists. I give him props for this solo. I liked it a lot. But he majority of his work is nothing to brag about. I grew up in the 80's. I play guitar......... I've seen all of the big 80's rock bands in concert many times. Dokken, Motley, Warrant, Skid, VH, Whitesnake, Cinderella, and many more. He's adequate for a group like poison.
i completely agree...i read an article in either guitar world or guitar one that ranked the worst 100 solos of all time and like 10 categories of suck-ee-ness(not sure how to spell that) and one of them was involves C.C. Deville...he was an amazing guitarist...people just say that cuz he doesn't play as fast as he can all the time...if you have an ear for music you will be able to hear how good he is at guitar...
Word man, seems like Guitar World has it out for C.C., truly haters. Seems like the writers always use to pick on him and Mick Mars, but now they're starting to suck up to Mick!!! How quickly these writers seem to wind up falling on their "pens". If it wasn't for the stupid stuff Brett Michaels keeps doing w/ this Rock of Love crap I bet they'd be jumping on the C.C. band wagon too. Sad Brett makes the whole band look bad. Oh well, rather have girls as fans than writers any day!!!

well i do have to say i like your version the best ( besides poison) but by far the best on youtube!....if you dont mind what fret are you on at the bit at 41-44 seconds. if it is a hard earned secret you dont have to tell me ..thanks anayway, keep rockin!
