This couple reminded me so much of SYTYCD UK's Charlie & Tommy. Tommy's shorter than Charlie but even though, when they were partnered, he held power and masculinity, making them the match made in heaven, they complimented each other very well. And they were the last two standing too.:)
They were definitely my favourite couple during season 3. 2 of the best dancers together, it almost seemed unfair... but their dancing made me forget that.

Gosh....Denys is so sexy. Look at 2:13 to 2:19...the way he pulled Amanda and moved his head and both of their bodies together...amazing...very classy. And yes, he is shorter than Amanda, but the way he carried himself showed strength, masculinity and power. Great job for the two of them
I'll admit, tango usually isn't my favorite in ballroom... but WOW! imo they were the power couple of the season in terms of chemistry and how they did in their routines together. Amanda does look a bit taller than Denys in some parts, but they danced it so well, he's such an amazing partner and her lines are so LONG I really don't mind it.
After re-watching this a few times, I actually LOVE this routine. One of the best of the night . I especially love 2:28 - 2:34. Denys partnered her extremely well. They brought the passion to their performance, and they nailed all of those lifts and tricks.
amanda's legs are incredible. although i thought there were too many lifts and tricks in the routine. it also looked like she was towering over him through most of the dance...which is a bit distracting in a ballroom routine. i wish she'd been partnered with someone a bit taller. they did well. but the tricks and the height difference were a bit distracting for me.
yep, she looks like Amanda Kimmel from Survivor...at first i really did think it was Amanda Kimmel, but if she really auditioned it would be for the US version...nonetheless, i really like her and Denys is really good too
Wow I didn't even notice the height difference til I read the description! One of my favourites of the night, if not my very favourite! Excited to see more of these two, and can't wait to see Denys tackle hip hop!
@rubberduck1810 YES! denys doing hip hop would be amazing. he's a beast in his own style, and hopefully he can carry that through to other genres as well. i'm expecting an alex wong situation, crosses fingers!
also, it might be clever camera angles, but it doesn't appear as if she's taller than him when they're standing at the end, weird! i think we all se it that way because he's built small and she has really long (and gorgeous!) limbs...
