What do you think of the 339? I own one and it's the most comfortable guitar I've ever come in. Had to change action and other things, but overall I consider it a great guitar :)

Thanks skydog!! Ive been torn between getting an ES335 and ES339 and to a lesser extent a Les Paul. This is the best demo ive seen on youtube and has shown me that I don't need to worry about losing that hollowbody tone because of the smaller body. I think the ES339 looks like all the best bits of those 3 models stuck together in one guitar. Plus its a custom shop and a lot cheaper than an ES335 where I come from. Thanks again you've inspired a decision for me!!

Clean city great but the end product have more reverb that it should.Just turn Reverb to 2 and go....

Yeah the camera mic exaggerates the reverb for sure.

Thanks Leslie!! I always forget that the vid cam. mic compresses and really exaggerates how the reverb is sounding in the room. It wasn't nearly as wet as it sounds here.

GREAT sound you've got there dan! what was defective with the cherry one? I had the same problem you describe here with the nut of my r6, but used the nut sauce for a bit, and now the nuts worn in, I don't even need the nut sauce any more...no tuning issues at all now!

Thanks Johnny!!! The cherry 339 had a bad rear pickup connection on the inside of the pickup.

Oh yea,now that's some sweet tone. I got a ES 335 in Dec. and find it an absolute pleasure to play. I run my through a 64 Vibroverb and get that same sound as your getting. Nice playing. Cheers
