Texaco sponsored early White Sox games on radio with Hal Totten, but leave it to Shep to tweek the name of the gas a bit. As for the candy bar, it sure wasn't me. From earliest tothood, I hated getting my hands messy, so any chocolate bar I got entered my pie hole at roughly the speed of light. They still do. Also, there's a reason I favor m&m's over all other kinds of chocolate. They still do melt in your mouth, not in your hand.
What in the heck is TEXAS ROYAL SUPREME BLUE GASOLINE?!?!? And why did they sponsor the White Sox ball games in the 1940's? However, I think it was the old man who stuck the Mr. Goodbar in the Chevrolet's glove compartment.
