  • Texaco sponsored early White Sox games on radio with Hal Totten, but leave it to Shep to tweek the name of the gas a bit. As for the candy bar, it sure wasn't me. From earliest tothood, I hated getting my hands messy, so any chocolate bar I got entered my pie hole at roughly the speed of light. They still do. Also, there's a reason I favor m&m's over all other kinds of chocolate. They still do melt in your mouth, not in your hand.

  • What in the heck is TEXAS ROYAL SUPREME BLUE GASOLINE?!?!? And why did they sponsor the White Sox ball games in the 1940's? However, I think it was the old man who stuck the Mr. Goodbar in the Chevrolet's glove compartment.
