Hey steve. I have a 06 Acura. The rear speakers looks similar to the one you just showed. The magnet is small. The Problem i am having is when i turn it up, i lose my bass. But when its on level 5 i got too much bass. Can you help? what should i do?

@nirosh89 Speakers are not the primary issue. Most stock sound systems in cars have a built in tuning curve where the bottom end has less treble and more bass and the top end has less bass and more treble. Depending on your Acura, you may have a built in amplifier and it is likely that the tuning is built into the amplifier and not the headunit. If you don't have a built in outboard amplifier swapping your headunit may help.

I dont know much about that brand but the actual manufactuer is TANGBAND. Tang Band also made the CCX drivers. NOT TO SAY ASCENDAND is a copy of Crescendo or Hemp or Mpyre just to name a few. Just my two cents. been watching your videos for the past few hours , nice work.

@liming5 Don't feel too bad, I just got 2 kenwood excelons (6inch) in my dash by the glass and the rears are 4x6's are factory. The shop that put it in messed up the wires too, and it just sounds like shit. My system's so retarded lol, but I don't fret, cuz my reciever has a usb port on the front, so plug n play n I drive all day, woot! (I'd love to have one of this guy's trash subs he says don't sound good lol, it'd prolly be the best I've ever heard I bet hahaha)

I am making a DC level 4 home theater subwoofer. The box is 6.2 cft3 and I using two 3" precision port tubes. My question is If I tune it to 18hz for home theater will it still be musical. I could tune it lower but is there negatives to tuning this low for home theater use??
