  • The actual hymn is 16 stanzas long. Depending on which version of the Methodist Hymnal you are using the hmn is comprised of the middle 6 or 7

  • The chorus is just unbelieveable...

  • I felt like i was listening to an angelic choir in heaven, especially when they sang Halleluyah! Thanks for posting it!

  • Awesome!!!

  • We have a ballet company in our city that presents a ballet of 2nd Chapter of Acts "Roar of Love" album every year. The ballet opens with a praise dance to this piece. It is awesome! I love it so much.

  • @musicmama2903 A ballet to "Roar of Love"? I bet that's amazing... I just rediscovered that album on Amazon instant download a few days ago... I guess it's meant for kids, but I can't stop listening to it... lol...

  • Always loved this one from my childhood. Havn't heard it in years - but it instantly comes back to me after the first chords. I'm not a super religous person - but it reminds me of the best days of my life! Thanks 4 posting!

  • To understand the incredible grace, mercy and love of Jesus, is to wish for a THOUSAND TONGUES to sing our great Redemers Praise, He is King of Kings, Lord of Lords, and deserving of every voice with breath to sing His praise for eternity

  • do you think god or angels or jesus christ like bees?

  • Wesley vs. Luther; who writes better hymns, Arminians or Calvinists? It's a tuff call.

  • @roaringwaterbay So Luther's a Calvinist now? Sorry, couldn't resist the question - I understood your comment really.

  • @petertimothycooper point taken.

  • This is so ethereal and beautiful!!!!! Worshipful.

  • Charles Wesley wrote this right after he experience salvation.

He wrote a whole book of songs after this, but this first one,

coming right after his salvation by grace through faith, was the

corner stone of his hymn writing career. Deep. Wide. Powerful.
