Dairy Fats, coconut oil, cacao butter, fat from lamb and beef and mct oil Yes are Great Fats!! Although they say our body runs on glucose it only does so because it has to get rid of glucose first. In fact your brain has more astrocytes than neurons and they prefer fat and supply ketones to your neurones when glucose is in short supply. In fact your heart and brain work much more efficiently when burning ketones. If you think about it we would not have survived the evolutionary process if when hungry we couldn't hunt successfully.
Zoe, your diet is dangerous! Our entire body runs on glucose, you should NOT be advocating the 'not eating' of fruit! Low fat vegan diet plus regular activity results in optimal health and ideal weight. I cant believe you promote not having to exercise!
@WikidLovely If you read her book she doesn't tell you not to excercise, in fact she tells you TO exercise. It's just that you don't have to exercise to lose weight. Buy "The Harcombe Diet" from Amazon and get yourself educated before you comment.
