I think Goats Head Soup is one of the most underrated albums of all time from any artist. Listen to Winter and Taylors guitar work. The staccato drums in Heartbreaker in conjunction with the sax. Coming Down Again etc....The last good album. Once Wood joined they lost it. Too much like Richards. Taylor was a great foil to Keith, Wood was an exact duplicate which is why everything after this album sounded the same.
this song is amazing, but better on the album. I spent many time to learn the mick taylor solo in the original version. I like this more than this live version. But anyway i am glad to find a live version at all
love this song, have never heard it live & surprised they did it live. taylor was such a great player. Propped Keith up. Their best album is a great debate. I love Exile & don't find it overrated in the least bit, all the taylor albums & Beggars so good. Live album, Live you live over YaYas? that 1975 tour was so sloppy & Mick just talking the vocals. 72-73 the last time Mick really sang hard. After that JJFlash, Honkey Tonk, the chorus' were song in talking voice. Didn't hold the notes.
first one tattoo you. then it's only r n r; some girls (in spite of far away eyes). Following: Out of our heads, then sticky fingers, satanic maj and let it bleed. To finish: goats head (great LP!!), exile (a bit overrated: single LP would have been better) and beggars' banquet, their best one in my opinion. Their first ones also: 12x5, hitmakers. Among live records, I'd say Love you live. Enjoy!!
@lysergicdeez. Sorry, but it is definitely NOT. It is a silly hollow tune, surely the poorest on Some girls. "Before they make run" and Respectable are cracking thou, but please do not defend FAA... es horrorosa y cursi !!
DUDE THIS IS FUCKING FIRE!!!! RS 71-73 is pure gold, not a bad song in the lot, but this highly overlooked song is amazing, my favorite song from Goat's Head besides Starfucker. But this live version is really amazing, so fucking solid thanks man!
Mick Taylor is amazing .. The sound of his guitar with the vibrato effect is powerfull !

Yeah, Beggars may be the best Stones album, it's fantastic!
I recently came over a copy of Satanic majesties request. It's even more strange than Sgt. peppers!
