This was a true community project made by genuine local residents on behalf of their Town. Folkestone is a pleasant and peaceful place to live and work. We are closer to France than we are to Maidstone and are forging both commercial and friendship links with our French neighbours.
There are lots of clifftop walks, miles of cycling along the promenades and 23 miles of coastline for a true Breath of Fresh Air.
@cjb12121 I have only just realised this video was done excellent work. but I'm a bit concerned that local people made this video and I realise not everyone and everything can be in it. but why is the most biggest and famous shellfish stall known throughout the country and mentioned in beloine Calais etc etc not featured one bit. is it because the local people making this made sure their businesses was in it and no other I wonder keep up the good work
not intentional, I can assure you. ..( and wot d' ya mean ya only just seen it !! )
seriously..., Next time round we will include more of the same and more local flavour, because that is what makes Folkestone special, especially the Harbour.
This is MAGICAL! Exactly why we live here, less than an hour from the London, space, the quality of life and a breath of fresh air. Well done to all involved in this production. Discover life, peace and tranquility...... Discover Folkestone!
the only thing missing is all the crap stuff in folkestone that takes up about 95% of it and all the stuff in the vid happens like once a year
thumbs up if u agree

I am moving to Folkestone soon and I wondered if anyone can let me know what large regular boot sales there are on in the area?
I am willing to travel up to about 25 miles from Folkestone itself.
Ive heard there is a good one on at Ashford on a Sunday?
I would be most appreciative if anyone could let me know?

Thanks for your request and I hope your move goes well.
