1:05 look at girls how they seek on floor where to place theyr shoes, under each leg they have a sort of suport, can`t see it under theyr pants, but it`s there.

Once they placed the heel in the hole, they just sit on the one-leg sort of chair :)

Basically a metal support system under the costume, a thin metal seat for the butt with a support running under the thigh with a joint at the knee that locks at 90 degrees, then splits into 2 thin supports alongside the calf and connects to a metal tongue under the foot that slides into a slot in the floor. The girls look down in the video to insert the tongue into the slot, then sit back onto the seat.

You can't Photoshop a live performance, & beside that, I have since seen the frames that are used under the costumes myself, they're becoming a more commonly used device. I love how eternal skeptics are always prepared to yell "photoshopped" without the slightest idea of what's going on. It's all a rather elegant use of simple physics & engineering.

@morobaruk No, it's not wires from above. The girls have metal supports that run alongside the calf, then under the thigh to a thin metal seat. It's supported by one leg only, but the seat extends to both butt cheeks. As the girls walk in you can see them walk without lifting the one foot very high (slide step) & carefully place their feet, then look down so they can insert a metal tongue under their foot into a slot in the floor. The tongue supports the metal frame so they can sit back on it.

@guzforster Yes, it is something to see all right. I've seen those supports in use before at some other event, but can't remember which one. It's a very inventive system, quite thin but very strong titanium supports. Beautiful presentation!

All I can think of is a very strong electro magnet that cycles very quickly between north/south polarity, like a MagLev train, and that's what keeps the bells floating unsupported. If they cycle around a million times per second (or more), this can be accomplished.

There is some sort of lock-in mechanism to the floor. See lock-in @1:02-1:07 and lock-out at 4:12. I am guessing that a strong electromagnet or pin is in the floor with a steel plate in the back of the left shoe for each person. They would sit on their left leg with the right leg locked over the top of the left anchored leg. Another possibility is the magnet or pin plus a form fitting metal seat beam set with a lockable hinge that is inside their pantleg on the back of their leg and shoe.
