Well, I'll have to disagree with you on this one. In a multi-player board game you cannot make your next move until your opponent makes his or her next move. Videogames, really good ones have an AI that gives some semblance of an actual opponent (FEAR for example). TV shows and books do not require any input from you to continue on. Anyway, I'll watch your video to see your comments on solo play. By the way - your videos make figuring out how to play Ghost Stories way easier - good job.
But co-op games like this and Pandemic and Arkham Horror and Lord of the Rings have an "A.I." Whether you are playing solo (controlling one or more roles yourself) or with other people, you are always playing against the game and its system, which represents the ghosts, diseases, Sauron, etc.
How would you rate the single player game. Without any other players to interact with, it seems to me that it would be fairly unexciting and way less fun.
See my comments about that in part 3. I like the solo version of this... Games are usually more fun with other people, regardless, but can be a fun challenge solo. We play video games and watch TV shows and read books solo, right? So why not a board game?
I don't understand how the one haunter gets to go to the head of the card. There doesn't seem to be any difference between that particular haunters card and any ot ehr other cards displayed. Could you please be more specific. I just received this game and am trying to learn how to play solo. Thanks
It's the icon on the bottom left of some cards, that indicates that a haunter goes right to the first space in front of the card instead of on the card, to begin with. At 0:49 look at the bottom left icon of the card.
The first time I played this I moved all the haunts on all boards at the Yin phase of every player.
Needless to say I lost fairly fast.

This is great. I was so confused with the rules, this review cleared up everything.
