does this gun function the same way as the .32 version: can you only rack the slide and bring the hammer back IF and only if the safety is off? looking for a cheaper way to train my wife with her .32 version and also another 22 range gun.
I like it very much, it is light weight, inexpensive to shoot and accurate up to 15 yards or longer. If you get one, get high velocity rounds like the Remington gold point ammo, it will prevent stove-piping . If you get the .25 you don't have to worry about that.
@frejoliejo they were available in eBay, imported from Thailand about 3 years ago. Google "beretta 21a grips" and you should find something similar.

@fwbrc51 yes it works like that too. In order to pull the slide you must take the safety off.
