I found that "You Tube Knockers" thread. Good lord, the Australians on that PJ Proby forum may tell it like it is (or maybe the way they think it is) but I doubt if Nicole Kidman or the Bee Gees talk that way! People sure don't where I come from!!!

Peter James has turned a sweet little song into a three-act drama. His voice is much too big for this.

There is a great youtube video (uploaded by m8united) of Cliff Richard performing 'Wind Me Up' in his take on a southern American accent (e.g., Ihm just a little...).

But here we have someone who is likely a 'southern boy' imitating a northern accent (e.g., Ah-eem just a little...). We can't fault the voice quality in this Peter James version, but his accent sounds phony to American ears.

Are you confused? Did you forget that (according to you) this isn't supposed to be P.J. Proby? Or are you now working for "Peter James" as well? If Peter James wasn't a real person, what does it matter what I say about him? No wait, he's supposed to be a singer who wore an eye patch that Wes Bryan remembers. Too funny.

For someone who has openly criticized Barbra Streisand, Andy Williams, Tom Jones, Celine Dion, etc. etc. etc. you are obviously the pot calling the kettle black.

merrysnotproud Peter James is a fine singer.....I like him but he's not P.J.Proby!! Proby is a one off. The singers I criticized are all excellent vocalists but put all their talents together & they will never ever match P.J.Proby at his very best. As a P.J. fan I can say that & I mean it. If you can't say anything nice about P.J. then say nothing & go and release your venom on some other poor singer you think has done something wrong!

I have said plenty of nice things about P.J. Proby all over youtube. Where have you been? Go read the comments on all the Proby videos. He is my favorite singer. If you mean I'm supposed to say something nice about him as a person...no can do. But you won't find anything anywhere that I have said that he or his staff didn't instigate. By the way, somebody needs to get that garbage off the Aussie Delphi forum. It looks very bad for Proby and the people who posted it.

The "You Tube Knockers" thread that has been there since June. Surely Proby doesn't want something like that on the internet for the world to read. If he doesn't object to it being there then I guess it tells a lot about him.

I see the thread is still on Proby's Aussie Delphi Forum. Is he afraid to ask her to remove it? A stage actor friend of mine saw it and described that discussion as "filth, nothing but filth". He could not believe P.J. PROBY would let his name be associated with that forum.

So, if it stays there it serves a purpose. The world can find out just how crass and ill-bred Proby and his groupies really are.

And P.J. Proby had the unmitigated gall to call Elvis Presley "ignorant"!
