@Metal404Head im sure that you have heard the word sample right? ok well it doesnt just apply to riping whole songs or parts of songs. every electric keyboard is technically a sample pad. someone records every single note possible with a certain instrument and assigns a key to it in the keyboard. so while it isnt the instrument in hand, it is going to sound just as good and if anything better because you have much easier control of the tone.

@Metal404Head and if you wanna diss rappers, well i could give you a whole list of em that i think are shit. sadly this particular genre allows alot of shitty artists to shine through. but i can bet that with the exception of mixtape DJs(usually just press replay and record) DJs and producers are some of the most talented of anybody in the business. true, most dont physically play any instruments, but they do compose the whole song and put it together, so I think your underestimating them, alot.
