Great match. Shows what Flair means now when he says he's the 60 minute man. Brody is a legend. How many 60 minute matches did Hogan have during his run from 1984 to present day? I think this match is a lot like the Undertaker vs Michaels matches the past few Manias in the size and style difference. Brody was actually Takers first ever match.

This match is definately overrated and isn't that great. Sure it's about an hour but this match is very boring and slow paced and half of this match is just rest holds. Definately nowhere near as good as any of HBK's long matches. HBK even had a better match than this against that piece of shit John Cena in London which was over an hour.

This match is a real great match. Not just that Michaels Vs Bret Hart Iron-man match where most of the time just were restholds. Id say 20 minutes of the match were restholds. This match is totally overrated. The match between Jumbo and Flair and Brody and Flair on the other hand were superb!

Wow! This is not the match that I thought that it was, because in that match in St. Louis there was literally a riot after the match ended. Flair barely got out of there alive. Thanks for posting though. I have some footage from that other match on a DVD-R.

Anyone have video from when Brody pinned Flair in St Louis for the title but was taken away for throwing nFlair over top rope? Believe it was in '82 or '83.

This was typical protocol for NWA title matches back then w/Flair & Race. Let the face/fan favorite look like they're gonna win the title, but hold out for a 1 hr time limit draw or get disqualified. Either way they gave classic matches..

Thank you for posting that legendary bout!!! It really showed Flair as a performer and that Brody could actually wrestle a title match for 1 hr and keep it interesting. Not just kick and pound. Plus, the atmosphere of that place made it all....the steamy dim lighting....the crowd...so far away from what we have to watch today.
