The thing is, how do you really know if your wish is worth making the 1000 cranes? I have about 5 wishes in my mind right now. However, I am not sure if they are really meant to happen in my life or if they will truly make me and others happy.

@1lifetoliveeuropean I think of it more as making your intentions/desire known to the universe...then trusting the universe to do what's best for you and everyone involved...but the cranes are just something to do to show how serious you are about what you want. In the end, it's not about witchcraft---I wouldn't recommend trying to FORCE your wishes to become reality...that's dangerous. Make all your wishes but trust that whatever is the best and is meant to be will happen. Hope this helps :D

because you make them you are putting your energy into your wish through the cranes. you can just put your energy into what you want to manifest without 1000 cranes lol

I think they were much more effective because you hung them in front of a mirror,which in fact "denied your own vanity",which is a very very strong thing to do in magic..You can pretty much hang anything in front of a mirror and make a wish.Because you deny yourself your own reflection,the wish will come true. :D

not really true...this year my teacher suddenly got a tumour in her brain and my class made 1000 cranes for her in a day..but she still passed on. It's God's will i guess, but it meant ALOT to her family and friends:)
