I think the siamese cats torturing poor Lady are the reason why i hated cats in the first place. That and how heroic and awsome dogs are portrayed through out all disney movies/cartoons
After seeing so many videos on here that have to do with scariest Disney movie moments, I'm surprised that nobody picked the car chase scene from "101 Dalmatians" as one of them. :o
We used to watch this every year before going trick or treating... at 4:22 I'd always hide in a different room. Why was I afraid of siamese cats? No idea.
I don't get Cruella DeVille- if she wants puppy fur, why go through all that trouble risking your life just to kill and skin innocent animals? Just buy from a catalog (or don't buy at all, even better)! She's insane. A lot of things in Disney movies I don't get. Like Ariel in The Little Mermaid or Princess Melora in The Muppets Frog Prince, if they were under some kind of spell where they could not talk/talk right then why don't they just write it down on paper?
@PinkWonderlandRoses I'm not defending the actions of a fictional cartoon villain, but you can't just buy puppy skin wholesale from Costco. Pretty much any way you're going to get it involves shady dealings and/or a phone call to China.
I always loved the Disney version of The Legend of Sleepy Hallow because it really sends that eerie feeling down my spine during Brom's storytelling and the horseman chase.
Stupid cats8P, they were the worst of the villians. I mean that in a good way, lol. Cause they could get away with their bad things cause their owner fell for their acts
This narrator is the bomb, "Along about midnight when all of the eating, and partying and ghost-story telling is all over..." Love his voice. I'm going to google to see who the actual person was who originally narorrated this Disney Halloween film.
I think, though, that the villains that scare me the most are the siamese cats. I don't think I watched Lady and the Tramp as a kid, so these are the only ones I don't recognize...maybe it's just the way they're so much more smooth about it, their high, haunting voices and their way of doing whatever the hell they like and blaming it on the Lady easily...plus, their eyes. Creepy.
I know the animation is very impressive for something back in the fifties. Now it's all computer crap. People don't respect good animation art. The lion king was the last one that was good animation art
Personally I love every kind of animation. I do agree that studios have gone overboard in using 3D and computer animation but that doesn't make computer animation at all bad because there are classics in all the categories like Finding Nemo. CA has great detail, stop-motion has great skill, and 2-D basic animation has great quality, the human touch.
No matter what medium animation is done in, it's a painful, long process. You have to know how to draw on paper in order to get a job at Pixar or anyother studio that majors in computer animation. I blame the lame ass stories that ruin animation today. It's all sugar coated with pink rainbows sprinkles, and pop music.
Hey, Why didn't they feature Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty?! I was so looking forwaed to seeing that dragon secuence before the Ichabod segment bagan.

Ridiculously incorrect. 101 Dalmatians was released in 1961.
