  • Coach in his glorious days, now he's our school's baseball coach. :)

  • I'm still crying!!!!! Miss Bidge

  • I met Craig Biggio at my job back in September in Houston. He was there for a St. Thomas College dinner. He was a class act and shook me and my buddie's hands and spoke with us. He is a Houston sports legend!!

  • B-G-O!!! B-G-O!!! B-G-O!!!!

GREAT memories right here! BIGGIO & BAGWELL will always be my favorite 'Stros!

  • I was there

  • My all-time favorite

  • This bring back memories because i was there and for all the Yankees fans out there that wasn't even close to how excited these Astro fans were

  • oh my god SHUT THE FUCK UP

  • jeter hit his 3000 :p

  • @xC4RL05x who cares

  • @lanceberkman10 LOL

  • oh my God!

  • How many times did this guy say "oh my God." LOL I was at this game. Biggio was 4 for 5 and Carlos lee won the game with a grandslam. Truly memorable.

  • @dashamas3000 actually Biggio went 5 for 5, did it only 2 times in his entire career

  • @toddyfex you're a dumass. Bagwell took steroids idiot not Biggio get it right.

  • @matthew1544 you're an idiot for that remark.

  • @matthew1544 hey fuck head bagwell never did steroids.

    clemens did though/.

  • @matthew1544 Neither biggio nor bagwell nor berkman nor beltran nor any stro that started with the letter "B" took steroids.

  • i would of been the one fan to run out on the field and shake his hang!

  • There is maybe 10 people left on that roster atm from that night, Astros talent is gone ;l

  • Damn, I wish I'd have been there! Bigg, my all time favorite player. Thanks, great vid.

  • It's awesome to see such a good man and baseball player in a wonderful city experience such a truly incredible moment in time...

  • More than the 3,000 hits, Craig Biggio played with his heart on his sleeve. I am sorry, but you cannot teach heart. It is not a skill you can acquire.

  • Biggio and Bagwell are the reason that i like the astros and i thank them for that and when i heard the he hit 3,000 i was really shocked and it was just so awesome

  • I am from chicago cubs fan, but biggio was always a cub killer, and to me first ballot hall of fame, miss you biggio great guy on and off the field

  • 1:53 OH MY GOD!!!!!!!

  • look at Hunter Pence's goofy ass on dek..hes good tho

  • I've meet Biggio(:

he gave me a signed baseball!!!!! :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

    Jealous? yeah i know(;

  • im only an astros fan in september. when they say "oh were down 15 games?"

    'ok lets win now"

    and then post season :D

  • huh?

  • in 2005 the astros were the first team ever to come back and go to a world series when they were under 15 games

  • @mphof74 2nd team

  • Thats cool. I saw his last grand slam which happened a couple days earlier, I made my bro get me some ice cream and he missed it. lol. it was funny.

  • okay so that was an amazing night i am a huge fan of the astros and craig biggio he is an amazing guy and a heck of a ball player. if willy taveras didn't get him out bigg would have though it was fair

  • Even if Biggio didn't get 3,000 hits, I'd still see him as a HOF-caliber player.

  • biggio is awesome great guy to my parents and I have dinner with him all the time he says the reason he tried to take second "there was so much adreneline ,i didn't care if i got thrown out or not"

  • Fuckin' great moment! Makes me cry everytime. That'm my eternal connection with this team regardless. We really need to bump it up this season in 09. Berkman's still in that damn slump from when we had a 3 day break from the hurricane which caused us to play a *HOME* game in *WISCONSIN!* Biggio and Berkman, my favorites from the Killer B's.

  • OH MY GOD!!!!!

  • i think the astros stink this year. But craig is a beast and i went to is last game

  • Shouldn't the grounds person have taken first base.. since his hit was technically a single? idk

I still remember this game.. it was amazing

  • what a douchebag^^^ whats wrong with trying to stretch it out for a double? in case you didnt know, he's got the 5th most doubles in major league history...

  • He's not slow you meathead! He tried to push for a double because a double is his signature hit! And he still can run fast even if he's 41 years old!

  • what i hate is willy taveras was the one who threw him out and he was his former teammate

  • Craig Biggio is one of my idols even though im a dodger fan

Craig Biggio and Jeff Bagwell were one of the best players in their time

  • I remember watching this on TV. That was fantastic! Especially considering that Carlos Lee saved our asses in extra innings with a game-winning grand slam. That was a great game. I'd love to see the Astros return to the postseason, maybe to a World Series like back in 2005. Be tough without this guy, though. He's going to the Hall of Fame.

  • i am chicago cubs fan, but love craig biggio that guy is a warrior, hall of famer no doubt played the game the right way, Miss you biggio beating my cubs all the time hahaha.

  • From my town!!!!!! <3333 KP baby!! :] we have one of his jerseys in our school gym :]

  • i was there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i was there it was great i still remember that hit cya in cooperstown

  • go astros!!!!!

  • ASTROS!!

I went to one of their games is was so awesome it was in Minuate Maid Park!!

  • Great video. I was in San Diego at work watching this game on MLB TV and I went completely nuts when he hit 3000. But how they ended that game, Carlos lee, walk off home run. AMAZING!

  • 1st Ballot Hall Of Famer!!!!!!!

  • Would like to see that happen, but not 100% sure. He batted over .300 only 3 times and was a 7-time A/S in a 20 yr career. On the plus side, every eligible player who has reached 3,000 hits after '62 has been elected on the 1st ballot. (Non-eligible players include Rose, and unofficially probably Palmiero, retired in '05). HoF has high standards - look at the case of Jim Rice: 8-time A/S, MVP, led league in HRs 3 times, 7 times over .300, 382 career HRs, four 200 hit seasons, but not in HoF.

  • BIGGIO!!!!!!!!!!

  • all those flashes hahahaha

  • One of the greatest players to ever step on the field. This is way more impressive than Barry Bonds' juiced up home run records in my book.

  • Hit records mile stone is of course better then the home run record mile stone.

  • @IHeartCancer you think biggio didnt use steroids?

  • bad ass video! espescially the comment about all the flashes..hahaha.

  • No pressure. Hehehe

  • great vid
