  • No one can do "Misty Blue" like Joe Simon, I'm over 70, I like Dorothy Moor's version, but Joe's Misty Blue is classic, special & addictive. NOW I CAN LISTEN TO IT DAILY

  • I am a young girl but I like the way this man sings. We need more songs like this today than the music they have now.

  • magic !!!

  • @NancyMcgill1 I agree, tho I like Dorothy Moore's version. I like this one, hearing that kind of vulnerability in a man makes me completely lose it.

  • Check out Sheena Easton''s Version.

  • Weak imitation of Dorothy Moore's version.

  • misty blue was originally recorded by wilma burgess (c&w 66) joe's version is from 1969 ,and dorothy moore's version is from 1976. how can joe's version ever be a weak imitation?

  • @mmsksie ...No one got it quite right until Dorothy Moore did this. I've listened to so many other versions. She got it exactly right. So it took ten years.

  • @mmsksie

to add to this.... the original was written for Brenda Lee who turned it down, Wilma Burgess did in in march 66 and Eddy Arnold released another version a month later.... but it was made famous by Dorothy...
