spanish people who live here should definitely learn english, but most schools that require a forgein language credit, or specifically a spanish credit (or 2 depending on your school's programs), is mostly for future business intentions...even though english is the language of business, (FACT), they try to say otherwise...so they teach other languages, regardless if you have any plans to go into business. it's a joke, honestly. but gaining info on new cultures never hurts, i guess. just annoying
