I LOVE SOTR. Every performance & the video are great. Thank you philipcarol for having it and I agree with you. A-ha's great! morten's voice is like no other. i went to their concert yesterday in buenos aires, argentina(luna park stadium) it was breathtaking, it was like a dream come true. Indeed, A-ha; the supergroup we all foolishly overlooked. Overlooked because we thought they were a here today - gone tomorrow teeny-bop act. 9 studio albums later, how wrong could we be!!!! I saw them in London in November 2009 and immediately became a massive fan - they are incredible!!! how could I have not realised it before? After all these years they are still on an upward trajectory although apparently not for much longer - they are due to split at the end of 2010 - we'll see...

I agree with you completely, philipcarol! Both about this song and about a-ha in general. I was into them in 1987-88 and then again for a while in 1991 when I for some reason decided to buy the "Stay On The Roads" album. I loved it, and the title track especially. It's been one of my favorite songs since then. Didn't see them live until this year, and just like with you, it completely blew my mind! Thanks for sharing this. I think it is not Morten having difficulties, but the sound was mixed wrong - he is almost drowned by the drums and the guitars, so he was really trying hard to make the song heard over all the instruments...imo... ;-) xxx

I have noticed that in live shows, Mag's instruments are cranked up loud, and also the drums, almost drowning out Morten's vocals. I much prefer their album versions. By the way, where was security at the beginning of this video? That girl was all over Morten for a long time.

yes, forestdweller .. it seems Pal"s visual presence didnt quite make it to the front as much as Mags and Morten did .. however he"s influence is about as characteristic an element of the band as Mortens voice and looks or Mags playfulness .. I see Pal underestimated here too, and although I am a huge Morten - Fan, I would like to spell out the high credit Pal has deserved ... in his coming of maturity I detect a stronger outer radiation than in earlier days .. however: all is perfect ..

I know what you mean by how underrated they are in the U.S. I first heard them when I was in the fourth grade and just rediscovered them on Youtube. They are my favorite band and this song is just breathtaking. No one sings like Morten or has his sex appeal.
