@PrincessButtercup In general, they should be straight across, however you can round them slightly if they have that natural tendency. The concern with rounding is that the corners will get too low and could cause ingrown nails.
@lolo22lolo You are very welcome! Any spa near you should have nail files available. Disposable ones really don't last that long so make sure to replace it frequently for the best results. There are also glass files that stay effective for a very long time.
@lolo22lolo We have an Essie one that is very popular. I myself am partial to the disposable ones in that they are always sharp enough as long as you have a new one.
Your video on doing a french pedicure and polishing the toe nails helped me so much my toes are pretty now. except for the uneven nails. Now that you have showed me how to do it they will be even prettier!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
p.s My feet were looking a mess before your videos.!!! KUDOS TO YOU!!
Thank you very much! You did answer well enough for me to understand so in other words after you cut them you kinda eye it as far as filing them even...yes?
It mostly comes with practice and being able to eye it properly. Start by cutting them all slightly longer than what you want as the finished product. Then it will just be a matter of recognizing proportion.
I'm sorry I couldn't answer any better than that! Please let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Thanks for the tip! I was never sure if the nail line and free edge had to match.
So does that mean even if your nails naturally grow round you should file them flat?

I have a question, and that is how do you file them all even? how do you ensure that the left foot toenails are even with the right foot toe nails?
