Apparently juding from the aftermath photos, one thing that wasn't in the WTC buildings on 9/11 was any kind of office supplies, fridges, vending machines, desks, chairs, doorknobs, toilets, cabinets, computers, etc. They all must have evaporated or been "pulverized" :)

@KIEflipROX the building fell at free fall (based on speed) during collapse, that means that it would have encountered no resistance whatsoever whilst it was falling. that could only happen if the floors below the top of the building would be pulverised during collapse. that can't happen from a simple plane crash. The only explanation which makes sense to me is that a thermite reaction (which burns at about 3000 degrees and melts through steel) was involved, possibly in the form of explosives.

@TriColorMonk Learn what temp steel "melt" at and also temps needed to weaken steel. Never has a wood fire brought down a steel supported building, even fires MUCH bigger then the 1s in the WTC. All supports would have to get to the same weaken state at the same time for a building to fall straight down. It would not fall at a free fall speed unless the beams were weaken all the way down to the base of the building.

Each floor below had only a 1300t capacity. The failure points were the angle brackets that attached the floors to the inner columns and outer. Once the extreme weight from above started to fall, there was no way the flooring held by 3/4 inch bolts was going to stop it....cont.

Once the outer columns snapped loose, the collapse started. All the floors below failed to hold up the extreme weight crashing down from above. Aside from that, Those bldgs for one, are much smaller, are gutted and have no ordinary office items in them. Just 1 example: such as the 1000's of computers that were pulverized from the extreme weight in the WTC thus adding to the toxicity of the dust in the air.

The Empire State Building (57,000 tons of steel used to construct it) was hit by a plane on July 28, 1945 where many fires broke out. Yes a smaller plane with less fuel but remember in the 40s much more wood was use in the building then in 2001 at the WTC (doors, floors, desks, chairs, studs of office walls, wall covering...etc). It still stands.

I thought because it was on this vid we were talking about the steel beams/columns of the twin towers not just melting metal in general. My thoughts were that the steel in the towers did not melt and at no time has this type of building come down due to a fire, even with a raging Inferno in some building, the steel supports still stood up even if nothing else was left.

They cut corners to build the WTC. They built with steel only and used light steel floor tresses enabling them to built light, tall and quickly. They also got an exemption to use less fire proofing than was used in older buildings. The core on core design was also fragile. The vertical columns depended on the floor tresses for strength and the floor tresses depended on the joining bolts

Apparently juding from the aftermath photos, one thing that wasn't in the WTC buildings on 9/11 was any kind of office supplies, fridges, vending machines, desks, chairs, doorknobs, toilets, cabinets, computers, etc. They all must have evaporated or been "pulverized" :)
Very doubtful any people were in the building on 9/11 either, as there were reports of a fire-drill and workers being denied entry that morning. Search for the "Vicsim Report" for more info on that.

@KIEflipROX the building fell at free fall (based on speed) during collapse, that means that it would have encountered no resistance whatsoever whilst it was falling. that could only happen if the floors below the top of the building would be pulverised during collapse. that can't happen from a simple plane crash. The only explanation which makes sense to me is that a thermite reaction (which burns at about 3000 degrees and melts through steel) was involved, possibly in the form of explosives.

@TriColorMonk Learn what temp steel "melt" at and also temps needed to weaken steel. Never has a wood fire brought down a steel supported building, even fires MUCH bigger then the 1s in the WTC. All supports would have to get to the same weaken state at the same time for a building to fall straight down. It would not fall at a free fall speed unless the beams were weaken all the way down to the base of the building.

Each floor below had only a 1300t capacity. The failure points were the angle brackets that attached the floors to the inner columns and outer. Once the extreme weight from above started to fall, there was no way the flooring held by 3/4 inch bolts was going to stop it....cont.

Once the outer columns snapped loose, the collapse started. All the floors below failed to hold up the extreme weight crashing down from above. As it started to give way and tip, the opposite side immediately detached and now had no support.The columns and flooring it leaned towards had even more weight to bear and gave way which started the progressive collapse, N. The Empire State Building (57,000 tons of steel used to construct it) was hit by a plane on July 28, 1945 where many fires broke out. Yes a smaller plane with less fuel but remember in the 40s much more wood was use in the building then in 2001 at the WTC (doors, floors, desks, chairs, studs of office walls, wall covering...etc). It still stands.

And ignited by heat which the wtc supplied naturally. The facade of the building was polished aluminum, The plane was aluminum, The entire steel structure would have a layer of rust. And the jet fuel and molten aluminum could mix with the rust causing minor thermite reactions.

Now I can see how the buildings collapsed in on themselves.. Demolition explosives installed along the height of the main-column --or Elevator shafts.. The outer areas (ie: actual Office space), would have simply followed the path of the inner core downward. There would be no outward visible sign of the Blasts in this case.

@sexschuh Lmao it was double that...6 months fires were burning...6 months until they could get rid of the pool of molten steel under both of the twin towers and tower 7......But the Greatest and strongest Steel structure ever built..remains to be the only Steel structure to ever fall from fires
