Just to leave a suggestion, when I learned this trick I learned to bring up the small rope first except bring it in front of the medium and large rope. Then bring up the medium and large rope. When you go to pull the ropes, thats when I switch the medium and large rope.

The main problem I have with these videos is that it is a pure exposure video. There are countless professionals that properly teach this trick already . Why is this kid exposing it to the world ? Ego plain and simple. I mean no ill will to him but there is a reason magic secrets are kept secret.
