I really, really want to become a BIg Cat Rescue staff. I would be thrilled to look after these cats, as long as they have enough room and lots of attention. It is my dream to help these magnificent creatures in any way I can. I know humans have lots to learn from them. Cats are clever animals.

i would love to work with big cats i dotn believe in captivity but for the cats that were raised in captivity are hard to reintroduce to the wild i would love the job to work there everyday to help make the cats happy. Is there anyway i could work there i plan on goign to colledge to become a conservationist,i want to eventually go to africa to work with the animal over there to stop poachers but i want exspericane with handlig big cats first

@mrcrowelydr We're always looking for good volunteers at the sanctuary, you would be able to gain experience working around big cats this way, we don't have any contact with our cats though. Job vacancies at the sanctuary are very rare and are usually filled using current volunteers who have experience at the sanctuary.

I hate when people say "I love big cats. I want a pet one." Well if you want a pet one, you clearly don't 'love' them...Some people are just so ignorant, cruel and selfish.

All big cats should be free in the wild....

It's awful that someone would declaw or defang a big cat (really cat of any type), those types of procedures are painful to the animals and if not done properly can seriously handicap them.

how does the one without the teeth eat??

@Teddie120 Some cats at the sanctuary are missing their "canine" teeth, but this doesn't effect what or how they eat. Big Cats use their back teeth to grind meat etc... into chunks small enough to swallow so they have no problem eating their diets. If they were in the wild this would be another story missing their large "canine" teeth would be a big disadvantage when hunting.
