A little comment on the word 'danke'. I personally think that this word was originated from Dutch 'Dank je' as Maluku is used to be part of Dutch colony for hundreds of years which automatically impacted their lives including the language. Yet,the Molukkers pronounce and write the word the way they hear. Again this is only personal opinion not based on any historical research or whatsoever.Hetly, Netherland.

thanks, as i remember there is no 'danke' in bahasa that's why i was wondering about the meaning, i just knew it when i am learning german here. maybe in Maluku you have it right? wonderful..:-)
