  • To 'correctly' set bindings, you need a DIN chart. Find your height and weight, use whichevers highest on the chart, go 1 code down for type 2, 2 down for type 3 or 3 down for type 3+. subtract 1 code for 9 years or younger or 50+ in all cases. In freestyle or racing cases, these are only a ballpark.. you will need to know the length of your ski boot to know the correct DIN on the chart.

  • i'm pretty sure i boned this guys mom

  • You didn't cover the subject of your title... and why are you talking about ski gear in some kind of music store?

  • garbage video

  • Stupid video!

  • that doesnt help at all any idiot knows what a DIN setting is, i wanna know how to set it properly!

  • @henrytweasel Hey man. theres no straight way of answering that question. Theres no correct DIN setting for everyone, and like he said it'd be different for anyone. Google 'DIN setting' there are plenty of systematic guides/calculators that will help you out based on your body's characteristics and rough estimate of skiing ability.

  • Nice video......I have a question and i cant find any answer.

I have some old Salomon 1080 Thruster which for start are great ....now my question is .....for freestyle should i set the binding in the middle of the skis or just normal setup like for carvin....so the bindings will be more near the skis tails ?

    please let me know

    Thanks

  • @Pl4sm0 for park you want a center mount. if you are mainly skiing in parks then go for the center mount, if you are just carvin' powder i would use the regular mount
