The true church is we, the people who follow Him, not a temple. And as we can see, many false religions are now existing that teaches merely human rules. Very legalistic mixed up view of Christianity. Actually when Jesus said it is finished he meant the sin issue is finished. Sin was absolutely forgiven at the cross. Past, present and future. It is indeed finished. You don't need to ask for forgiveness but simply thank Jesus that you have already been forgiven.

I was brought up Catholic, but now have a hard time believing in a religion that covers up, thus becoming an avenue for the abuse of God's children. So when the sins of an organized religion have shaken me to the core, I am grateful for the words of the young man in the video. I have faith in God, but none in organized religion. And no,I do not believe it is taking the lazy way out.The world is my church.I seek to find God in every person and every place that I roam. Praise God, not a religion.

The Holy Catholic Church, the body of all true believers, is not a religion. The Holy Catholic church is made up of true believers in Christ and they come partially from the Roman Catholic denomination, the Baptist denomination, etc. Christ sheep follow him, not a denomination.

Before the Catholic church determined the cannon of the NT with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, Many thought it should be included in the NT! Catholic writers state that one can accept the Bible as being inspired and as having authority only on the basis of the Catholic Church. In reality,the Bible is inspired and has authority,not because a church declared it so, but because God made it so. The response generated by the original video is fascinating to watch. Faith is like a dog taking to a man's leg. The dog is pretty sure there's something in it for him and perhaps there is, but to the eyes of the nonbeliever it is only sad graphic comedy. Realize that religion doesn't offer a coherent path to the reasonable. Jesus is a character in a redacted novel. That thing you are humping... is a man's leg.

Religion binds ppl up in rules®ulations or in ritualistic patters of devotion.
