  • is that a diode in your gluebottle?? xD

  • Hey how much for you to build me one or something like it? Im new to helicopters and don't want to sell my house to get one. spazzoid88 @ gmail

  • @koskey06 Sorry I don't build helis for people any more. You can find a RTF 450 clone heli on ebay for about $240. Quite a bit less than your house =).

  • how long in cm are the left and right servo pin

  • huhu balls huhu 4:19

  • hey mike do you recomend those servos for a starter

  • Hi Mickey,

This is Amit, a Big Fan of yours, from India. Been flyingelectrics & Glow engine helis for about 2-3 yrs. Just love the work you do !! Really appreciate your efforts to help fellow RC flyers, especially new commers.

    Cheers & God bless,

    Amit

  • 4:10 thats what he said

  • acer lab d-12 mg servos slide right in and they're cheap :). my rods with these servos are angled but whichever way the servo splines are facing the rods are angled lol. great work

  • too bad about the plastic head :(

  • mounting those servers was probably the hardest part of the entire tutorial lol

  • secind thought i just checked mines and the rods are angled , so i guess your correct.

    thanks for the lesson

  • =)....no prob.

  • the servo is mounted on the outside of the frame , lol their not suppose t obe scewed in from the inside .

  • realy nice work mike, great camera work showing the leveling of the flybar...

  • 4:15 that's what she said!!! :D

  • Cool video Mikey! Very informative again, keep up the good work mate ;-)

  • Good work. I have mine all put together stuck on the 2.4ghz exceed rc. I think it is the same as the one you have. I will wait to see how you set yours up.

  • Yeah I think you are right....It looks EXACTLY the same save for the sticker. I have figured it out but I'm about 2 or 3 videos away from that. So maybe this will give you a jump start. Right ail. chnl #1 elevator chnl #2 throttle chnl #3 rudder chnl #4 left ail. chnl #6 The dark or negative servo wires go AWAY from the thinner part of the RX. Choose "Stick" mode 2. And "Reverse" servo number 1 and 2 are NOR. "Type" is a HELI-120. "Switch B" NOR/ID. NOR pitch curve 45, 45, 50, 75.

  • I do have wires and all the same, but my right stick is all backwards. forward is back- back is forward. Right stick is heli left. left stick is heli right. The throttle stick is fine. don't know what the problem is. Maybe when you do your video I will see something that I am doing wrong.

  • Quick update. Only channel number 1 is "NOR" Leave everything else unchecked.

  • Great job, keep 'em coming :-)

  • great video =) nice tips...
