how the hell do you ride that thing in shorts? I tried on mine and the exhaust hits my leg everytime right under the back of the seat. burns like hell.
@ETM299 No its not, i know someone that raced nationals and im pretty sure he almost won the championship or he did in 2010 with a motoworks pipe, programmer, beads, 18" tires in the rear 20 in the front, damper, stage 4 elkas all the way around, rath components on stock a-arms and axle . He got a 7" ride height out of it and it handled wonderful. Elkas do not suck and you can always work with what you have.

@ETM299 He was putting out the top 10 B riders laps times and he raced on a hetrick built kfx this year in B and almost got a top 5 in B on jb arms and elkas all the way around. Im pretty sure hes taking the B championship nxt year.
@jamesprankerd i know, but if its not dangerous its not fun. plus safety comes second nature when riding soo its hard to crash, even if you try to. depends on the rider and experience, if i was any bit worried, i wouldnt be on it in the first place. but this is an off occasion where i just dont wear it. i almost always do.

You need to start racing. Get some beads and some elkas. Stock arms are fine, dont really need any wider.
