I like all those comments that say Italy has (nowadays) the worst miltary in Europe, maybe quoting the WW2 and the fact Italy lost. I find it funny because they probably NEVER touched a gun in RL (not on CoD) but they are all all-knowing about war strategies/facts. I indeed appreciate comments of real soldiers from all countries (usa/france/uk/canada/belgium/germany etc etc) who really fought by the side of italian soldiers and are grateful of it.

Barsanti and Matteucci invented the first internal combustion engine (considerated by all the first) without the compression phase. LeNoire few years later madesome improvements. Durante la seconda guerra mondiale l'italia non aveva molti fondi come non li ha tutt'ora, per questo i nostri carri facevano pena, eppure anche con mezzi agghiaccianti abbiamo vinto molte battaglie... Togli i carri armati ai tedeschi e agli americani, togli l'aviazione agli inglesi e togli le batterie missilistiche ai russi, smetteranno tutti di combattere, togli tutto agli italiani e potranno benissimo continuare una battaglia anche a mani nude, la differenza è nei soldati non nelle armi...

@Runol1st Dear ignorant probably you are thinking about "the Battle of the Neretva" 1943, so you know that was a German operations with nine divisions: six German, three Italian, two Croatian divisions and a number of Chetnik and Ustasha formations. Yes we and German was allies but Italian people wouldn't join the WW II, becouse that wasn't our war, but a dictatorship's war.

In Europa siamo forti nei numeri, come fanteria e carabinieri pure, la forza aerea è buona, la marina e le forze di terra però sono in numeri troppo bassi e di qualità non proprio eccelsa. UK e Francia sono al nostro pari forse, ci salviamo appunto grazie alle forze aree e alla fanteria, ma loro hanno le atomiche, poi invece i crucchi ci macellerebbero dappertutto... non parliamo dei russi :)

Per favore e senza offesa: ridimensionati. Bisogna sempre guardare alla realtà, gli stanziamenti per le Forze Armate (e non solo i soldi) sono così al minimo che tra un pò verrà persa l'operatività di molti reparti.
L'Italia è il Paese che destina la quota di bilancio più piccola di tutta l'Europa.
E nelle varie Accademie si viene ammessi (e si và avanti) spesso per raccomandazione, non per capacità.
Figurati che quadri ufficiali ne vengono fuori.......

Non c'è nessun reparto la cui operatività andrà compromessa, e gli ufficiali hanno la preparazione migliore che si possa avere, anche perchè conforme agli standard europei e mondiali degli eserciti moderni.

Italian army won the first WW entering the austrian territory , and in the second english were saved by americans, while half of the defeated french were fighting with the nazi. In africa the italian army defeated many and many times the english army even with old tanks , so stupid english if you won, thanks the americans, and to the superiority of yours numbers. @Teranex Why do you think the Chezks defected at the time of the battle as did the Hungarians (Which even mostly left the front for Hungary before it). As you say it the battle was "vital", couldn't they wait? I did not agree when you wrote that Vittorio Veneto and the collapse of the Empire did not have any relations, just as that two events happended in two different planets. I think the battle played a major role in triggering of the declarations of indipendence.
