@Glenn400ad BB is from the old skool and although a lot of great guitarists play and sing as one BB treats the guitar as a separate being to himself the call and response style is right!! You should check out some of his interviews that are floating about on you tube!! Some of the techniques he uses BB was the first to discover and people use them now worldwide to call him original is an understatement!! Hence BB king is the king of electric blues!! I I was lucky enough to see him in Manchester

@Glenn400ad It's actually a specific style of blues called "call and response”. If you listen for it you will hear other blues greats doing it as well, Stevie ray Vaughan on Texas flood is a good example.
