PRIDE did it best; all quarter-finals on one epic card, then the semi-finals and final on the same night. Do it like that, or do it K-1 style with a one night eight man tournament.
Either imitate one of these two tried and tested models, or don't do it. IMO it was fucked from the very beginning.

I going with Overeem or Barnett but it wouldnt suprise me if Werdum wins it either, I also have trouble seeing what Silva brings to the table against Werdum who he already lost to and Overeem a guy who presents not only equal size but and equal skill set as well.
My prediction: Overeem will avenge his loss and KO Werdum and beat Silva in the semi finals. Then he will destroy whoever he meets in the finals, probably Barnett. Finally, he will defend his belt against someone that he didn't meet in the GP, which will probably be Fedor and win.
