It may not be "auto racing" to you but it sure is to the engineers and mechanics who spend endless hours assembling them so some driver can abuse the hell out of it for 3-4 hours. Those drivers would like to talk to you about it as well.

You know why they race on ovals - even in F!, Indycar or SCCA?

There are no 500 mile long roads in existence that allow drivers to push the cars to the point of controlled chaos. It has to be a circuit, be it road course or oval.

The most boring race on the world, the spectators are eating hot dogs wating for "a big one" if in a race don't have crashes... what can be a oval race? I preffer documentals on TV to sleep, it do less noise :)

@NapalmCandy Home, sincerament trobo molt més entretingudes algunes curses d'Indycar que no pas de F1, per mí el que fa interessant una cursa son els avançaments o les maniobres entre pilots. Per molt que un oval sigui molt més simple que qualssevol altre circuit, dona molt més de joc als avançaments i moviments entre pilots...

@NapalmCandy you dont understand this type of racing alot of guys from formula one and indy car have tried nascar and most have failed to even make it in the top 15 only juan pablo montoya and danica patrick are the best open wheelers in nascar so nascar is alot harder racing also more exciting because they are running closer together.

How about a set of downs in a football game? How about the amount of time a pitcher throws a ball in a game? The amount of times a bowler throws a ball down a lane? How about the rounds of golf Tiger woods plays - how many times does he hit the ball?

How about the number of fucking times Lebron James runs up and down a basketball court bouncing a ball? It's all about trying to achieve perfection.

U have misunderstood my point, i was not trying to say ovals are easy to drive in. But u cant say much in A LAP, but i can say there's tons to say about in an actual race, so u have misunderstood.
