  • awesome ...

  • Hey guys, just to point something out. For the people who are saying it's a Korean song, /technically/ there's a Korean version, by Park Hyo Shin. :3 Those people probably have only heard that version. So don't get annoyed so quickly please!!! They might just be a fan of K-pop, but not really know J-pop so they didn't know there was a Japanese one too.

  • i like the english version, very well done!

  • omg I wanna cry!!!!!!!!!

  • @camicamilita6 ME,TOO.

  • So beautiful....

  • @ForeverCellist Yes, Greatly Beautiful...

  • OMG this is amazing. <3

  • It's japanese not korean :P

  • @gabriellataminato

    There's also a Korean version, it's from a drama.

  • not bad, but i prefer mika-san's version

  • sorry this is terrible. The male version is better.

  • it's Japanese song, not korean one

  • Comment removed

  • why korean? this is japanese song... korean are lier

  • Mink-san's Version is best for me.

    can' t find it now,,,

  • breakinng hearted drama!! but it's really good one!!! cried a river while watching it :"((

  • No one sings this like Mika Nakashima.... sorry, this version is not that good.

  • @clake9 i agree, but you can't deny that this version is not bad

  • good song...i love all cover of it

  • This is actually really gooood:) I'll use it for my ringtone.

  • Once again I'm convinced that the tender and warm feelings in the blood of South Asian women. I'm so far away at the other end of the earth. And while I do not know how to fulfill my dream - become husband for asian girl and live with her happily ever after. But it's will be so.

  • the original one is from japan..

MIKA NAKASHIMA is the first singer who sing this song..not that korean singer...

    take a note...

  • Not bad at all, usually english version of asian song sucks but this one is pretty good

  • @Shoot1ngStar this English version is pretty good because the original Jap version is so awesome.

  • hmm, not bad

  • i love it

  • ewwwwwwww i dont like the english vertsion

  • very nice

  • well now Iam in love, If only life could hold that kind of love Just love it

  • i agree that japanese ver. is better. not heard of the korean one. but if in english, i'd prefer eric martin's

  • Bản gốc của nakashjma Mika là hay nhất , Nhiều người nhầm thành nhạc hàn quá.

  • ban goc' cua? Nakashjma Mika la` hay nhat'

  • I think this is a nice effort at making an English version of a Japanese/Korean song... I know it's difficult to make English fit the rhythm sometimes. I think I'll stick w/the Korean version. Either way, though, Hayley Westenra has a lovely voice, so maybe I'll check out some other stuff by her.

  • Great , i was trying to write lyrics for this song , her lyrics r awesome just like how i was feeling it :D ,

awesome , love it , thumps uppp ,

  • lovely

  • This was really really a wonderful drama I have ever seen.

  • Xem phim mà cảm động muốn khóc :((

  • wonderful

  • It doesn't flow as well as the japanese one.

  • This is good but I,like many other, definitely prefer the Japanese version as it is the original version. It seems like the lyrics is "forced" to have the same phrase as the original's lyric

  • @Sinnerzzzzzz Actually the original is the Korean Version.

  • @roen5297 you may thought so if you watch Mianhamda, Saranghanda drama, but truth is Japanese is the original version. This song was back from 2003/4, can't remember.

  • @roen5297 Wrong....the song is Japanese...it was composed by Ryouki Matsumoto lyrics by Satomi, and first sang by Mika Nakashima

  • @ay410 I'm a Korean and I agree with this.

After Nakashima sang it, that's when Park Hyoshin sang it for "I'm sorry I love you"'s OST

  • @roen5297 The originial version is by Mika Nakashima..

  • I just came across this song sung in English. i long wanted to sing this song in English and had been serching; however, as somone commented, important lyricks were changed and i prefer Japanese and Korean lyrics better. Hope someone translate into English from Japanese and Korean with no lyric change.

  • Wonderful

  • Wonderful

  • no thank you.

  • What movie is this? I wanna buy!

  • @sexysesshomaru1 it's the korean drama "i'm sorry i love you" soo sad! if you type it in the search box on youtube you'll find all the episodes

  • haven't heard of the Japanese/Korean version. the version of eric martin is better though. lol just sayin'. i like this version too. :)

  • lol so dramatic.. they should get a change of scenery, there is no need to cry over someone is there/

  • ganda nd pagakalyrics sa english

  • Well, tell ya something, the song is originally for Nakashima Mika, Japanese artist, NOT Park Hyo Shin...

The English version is better than the Korean though :). the lyrics in English are amazing, not quite the same as in Japanese.

    Nippon Gambare ^^

  • japanese version of this song has more sorrow, and korean version has more passion. nakashima mika has a really mellow voice, and park hyoshin has a manly powerful voice.

  • @lalaboyz I believe Geckt sung the Korean version best. Not sure if he did the korean version for I'm sorry, I love you though. And for the record Mika Nakashima killed this song. Nobody after her has been able to top her on it either. Thats what it is to be an Idol. Kudo's for trying to bring the song to english side but not getting anywhere if compared to Mika.

  • I like both the korean and japanese versions but its thanks to this drama that i heard this song. i love korean dramas, this is one of the best. Beautiful cast and storyline

  • I only like the korean and japanese version even if I don't understand it. But I find it more melodic and for the english version I just can't feel it, I never really like english pop singers to be honest but I know some of them are good but to be honest her voice doesn't suit it.

  • I am with so many others on this i like the original and the eng version couldnt fit the cultural thing ORIGINAL JAP IS BEST ^^ <3

20 ppl can apreciate music in its origins:P

  • the theme for my favorite drama (of any originality) of all time. it invokes emotions no matter what, but hearing a translation in my native language is powerful

  • @hards80 what drama is this song from?? :D

  • Comment removed

  • what kind ppl dont like that beautiful song?

  • i discovered mika nakashimafrom NANA and thats how i discovere yuki no hana. then i randomly stumbled on im sorry i love you and the first time i heaard it in there i was all wow i know the japanese version of this.

  • I only speak Eng, but music has rocked my world....in any language.it holds a bit of my heard in Japan, HK, & Egypt too.It comes from the deepest part of self .....to share a true feeling with the world.

  • i have no problem with this version. that just make it a little easy 4 the english speaking people. but i like the Korean and the Japanese version better .

  • wait oh what?! I thought this was a korean movie and yet it has the other version it's sung by a japanese artist... I got confused.. that's kinda weird cause why do they have a japanese song in a korean movie?

  • @lunamiz101

The clip is from a korean drama called "sorry, i love you". In which a korean version of the song was featured. But the original song was in japanese, and performed by Nakashima Mika. The korean version is by a man, i forget his name. This song has also been covered by Vincy in Hong kong, Some dude in China, Eric Martin, and Hayley who is from new zealand. Sorry for the essay.

  • mmm

    original korean singer ........

TRUE original singer is Mika Nakashima who is a japanese singer

  • this lyrics is full of meaning. I love japanese song, i also love Eng song version! so great, so sad.

  • isnt this the singer from celtic women?

  • what korean drama is this?

  • @DoomedCarrot I'm sorry I love you

  • @DoomedCarrot :Sorry i love you!

  • Beautiful, but Jap version still tops. almost cried to that one I swear.

  • thanks for having a english cover for this wonderful song by mika nakajima...

it would really sound a bit different if you first listened to the original by mika nakajima...but still it sounds fine to me...commawo

  • You say "sub", I say SUB. Think about that now! ;o)

  • I want to see that drama, i've seen that guy in another show he's cool... as for the song, I think it suits Mika Nakashima more.

  • Umm...is this really Hayley Westenra singing?

  • This is a little awkward... haha but it's decent for an English cover

  • nihon aitai kara...

  • english doesnt really match the asian tune ......in my opinion..

  • @VKneokita

    Asian Tune?...O_o...huh?

  • @MrOmniblast kinda like an asian sound? idk how to describe it :P

  • do you have the download link to this song?

  • awesome! thank you

  • I like the flow of the lyrics in the Korean, maybe because we heard it in Korean over and over again during the series. Mikia's version is pretty too but they couldn't really use the Japanese lyrics in the actual show, the Korean people watching wouldn't know what the lyrics meant. I wish the US would release an official DVD of this great K-drama, all you can get are bootlegs.

  • can anyone tell me from which movie is this motion picture taken

  • korean?

    original is japanese song

  • yes the japanese and korean have better lyrics but for singer i prefe hayley's voice so bad that the english lyrics don't fit in beats

  • Mika's original is the BEST ^ ^

But i like Hayley's version too.

  • Mika version best!

Eng ver. is lacking something inside, maybe is the words. Still like it tho.. not love it.

  • English version is lacking uncertainty. Sound is not crying.

  • Originally is it jap. song by Mika Nakashima...

  • i love this song so much

  • wow .really hearttouching music n song .thanks a lot for sharing it

  • OMG I LOVE HAYLEY WESTENRAAAA

  • is wonderful!!!!*___* i have a video of i'm sorry i love you too!but with the song Yuki no Hana from Mika Nakashima!

i love this dorama!!! and im soo jung is my favorite actress!

  • plz tell me who is singer?

  • Hayley Westenra

  • @aphbioh do she have any other songs cuz her voice is amazing love it alot .....

  • @aphbioh actually, I may be wrong, but I think the original was in japanese and the original was sung by Mika Nakashima

  • well done!

    love it ♥

but i really like the japanese version.

    nice message...

  • Well done! I am very like this!

  • Hmm...yeah, I prefer the Korean and Japanese version. I really don't like the changes to the lyrics in the English version.

It's most likely the difference in cultural views, and the English side having to fit the amount of words appropriately to the tune.

I find the Korean and Japanese lyrics more artistic and beautiful, and that they fit more to the plot and feelings of "I'm Sorry; I Love You".

Although, I wouldn't understand 'em unless I had the translation sheet, haha.

  • @MuuDood I think you should change your opinion, cause I think this song's covered very successful. I like it much.

  • wow mika the best ... and her song so famous till they made many clone of her song .... mika was real original !!!!! ... it sad that other try to copy her song with no credit

  • yup... the japanese version is d best...

song is yuki no hana by mika nakashima..

    actually, she is the original...

  • @tupetaba i voted myself down ugh

  • The plot of the drama is a little too sappy for my taste, but the song is undeniably great. Touching. This English version is better than the Korean version sung by Park Hyo Shin, and on par with the Korean version by Im Soo Jung. Hayley, you're great! :)

  • @Jaszitaa there is a japonese version ?! ....which one...whats the title! :S

  • @natalia18 its yuki no hana...^^,

  • very nice but sad hmmm.... :(

  • yup i agree that the korean version is the best , i dont know why but it gives me a very warm feeling n sad in the same time ... :) but in the end its the best drama and song ever ... :)

  • can't stop from watching it i watched more then 10 times today its really very good T^T and brings memories .........

  • The video is very beautiful although I don't know the drama. Well anyway I love this song, It's a well done cover from Mika Nakashima's Yuki no Hana, I might like Mika's voice just a bit more ^_^

  • best drama ever, but im not really liking how it sounds in korean.. the translation is different...

  • the words are so different than the Korean version subtitled into English? What happened is the English a total rewrite of the song or a very poorly done Korean translation?

The Korean version by Park Hyo Shin is so much better.

  • @rostant999 its done like this so the syllables fit the music when they are sung, the subtitle you have seen is porbably different words but if you rea the whole thing context are the same as these lyrics

  • @rostant999 oh also i forgot to mention this is probably a translation of the original japanese version so the translation is of course going to be a little bit off of the korean translation and translations are base off of the translators thoughts

  • It is Japanese song sang by Mika Nakajima ^^

  • @housen09 Nakashima.

  • @housen09 Err. Isn't it Mika NAKASHIMA? -______-

  • i'm so happy i found your video^^

    thank you..it really is beautiful!

I never heard this song one of my fav in english version before...so this i a treasure!i

adore So Ji Sup in this drama~

    thank you for posting^^

  • Don't get me wrong, I love Hayley Westenra's voice, but this song just does not sound good in English.
