Okay this is the first one that I disagree with you on. I won't say that Grown Ups was great because it wasn't, just don't think that it was the complete pile of crap that your review made it out to be. Liked the family togetherness theme, Chris Rock as the roll reversal dad was fun, and even David Spade who I hate has a few enjoyable moments.

Then again you probably payed money to see this while I rented it for free from my library, that may have influenced our opinions.

The thing that struck me most about this movie is that the entire thing was exposition. After like an hour of waiting for the something to happen I started to understand that this movie was actually a brilliant piece of post-modern arthouse theatre created in rebellion against traditional forms of narrative and linear film making, as the entire story was a first act, there was no complication, antagonist or resolution of any kind, but rather a really long beginning to a story. Genius.

I did like this movie though i thought it had a good spirited message like you said and as for the 3 minute build up for joke rut-tine I can see what you mean but I didn't really think about it like that till I watched this review and I thought it was funny and that the actors worked well together. My complaint with the movie regards the redundant jokes they make when they're teasing eachother that got ridiculous. Nice vid tho I like your reviews. :)

I thought the movie was alright. Not particularly funny, but I did laugh here and there. It didn't have much of a plot, other than Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Space, and Rob Schneider making jokes together. There was a conflict now and then, but all of them were solved within about ten minutes, which sort of bugged me.

Either way, it's not a bad movie. Good family fun that the kids and adults will like.

This movie tried to be a little bit for kids but then there are adult jokes, it was strange. They should have made it strictly for adults or light heart slap stick for kids, not both. Some of the jokes fell flat and there should have just all together been more content in the film. Sadly, they sort of blew it.6/10.

@foojuice101 I love Blackadder. I never liked the first series(The Black Adder) but Blackadder II and everything after that is pure gold. RIchard Curtis who wrote every episode moved on to write some of the best romantic comedies of all time. Four Weddings And A Funeral is great stuff and Bridget Jone's Diary is good fun as well as Notting Hill and of course Love Actually. Richard Curtis is a fabulous writer. Im a big fan of such british humour as Monty Python & The Goodies. Awesome stuff.

I actually liked the first Blackadder a lot although, my favourite season has to be Blackadder III. That stuff is just hands down brilliant. British humour is awesome. :D

@foojuice101 Yeah they were good. Im not big on romantic comedies either. There's nothign wrong with them i just havn't checked many out but Richard Curtis has made some great work. I hate it how people compare the goodies to monty python and how monty python are better. The critics did this when it was still on tv and because they were friends with the pythons they often would make fun of the pythons and occasionally team up. This is what I love about british humour.

@foojuice101 they were going to make another one about a 60s rock band with the drummer being Bald Rick and it would be called The Blackadder 5. They said it sounded so rubbish that they didn't do it. It could be pretty bad but im pretty sure Ben Elton and Richard Curtis could pull it off as well as the fine cast. I think they should of done more specials. I love all the specials and don't know why so many people hated Back And Forth. It didn't feel to much like blackadded but it was still funny
