But as you said common sense here is that you always must be prepared, our land is the most unforgiving place and is the last place u want to be stranded as there is completely nothing but wild. One main person who can vouch for this is Malcom Douglas, the outback man, who was recently killed by his 4x4 rolling into him.

I feel like a lot of people misunderstood the message of this movie. It is about freedom and breaking away from society, but it's also about the necessity of human connections. You can break away all you want, but you'll never be the happiest you can be without maintaining a relationship with a mother, a lover, a friend, or whatever.
