When I see this pervert testify it reminds me of how far the Catholic Church has been corrupted. This guy is a disgrace to the Catholic Faith and should be ex-communicated. If a Lay person did what he did they would surely be ex-communicated. It makes me sick to think that people who were looked up to at one point in the Catholic Church have been molesting young boys all along and worse yet, their superiors were covering it up and totally denying any wrong doing. Weakland clearly did not manifest the "curiosity" about others experiences one would expect here. It's a kind of closed-mindedness, not unlike what we also saw in President George Bush. For both men, this is a personality characteristic typical of persons with authoritarian personalities.. It's a level of psychological "immaturity", entailing unclear boundaries between self and other, leaving little curiosity about others and how they differ from what one already thinks one knows.
