you are wrong about one thing.. SEX is NOT on a continuum. You are born with testes or Ovaries, XX or XY. I know there are a ton of disorders that cause issues with genitalia and outward sexual appearance (CAH/Guevadoce). But Genitalia is not the determinant of SEX, its your gonads and unless you are a XX/XY chimera (in which case ud be mutated and dead) you only fall into one of two sex categories. Male or Female. Man or woman, Masculine/Feminine is your choice from there.

@Offended83Shadow And of the cultures where there are more than one sex? It's easy to see how biology and science can be constructed socially when you look into other places that have more than just XX/XY, male/female sex.

@Schmeggyroo Yes :) I'm minoring in Women's and Gender studies, I would have double majored since I'm only 3 classes away from it, but one class I needed wasn't offered until 1st semester 2012, anddd as you know I'll be moved by then soo yeah LOL I'm planning on continuing my studies in linguistics with a specific focus on socio/feminist/gender, and my long term plan is to facilitate opening up a women's and gender studies dept at QUT because it's a sister school of A&M (my Uni)

Whoa. That has got to be one of the most inspirational videos I have ever seen! I really enjoyed the fact that you are challenging societies' gender discriminations by using yourself to display two different looks, and the bottom line being that you're still you, no matter what you look like.

Btw, I'm a fan of The Black Eyed Peas myself, which made this video even better.

What inspired you to do this? Did a certain thing happen? Or have you been thinking about this for awhile?

Well, I made this video about a month ago, and just now uploaded it haha, but as far as the subject of the video I'd thought out it for a while, just something to show fluidity of gender and anti-discrimination message, but like I said in the description I've always (ever since I had long hair and could pull it across my face LOL) wondered what I'd look like with a beard so I was like hmm le make up! drag king it up lol
