i've never danced saman before... one of these days tho, i'd love to learn =). But anyways, as an indonesian i'm very VERY proud to see foreigners dancing this amazingly complicated dance. It may not be performed perfectly, but you guys look GREAT! Keep up the good work!!

ass. aku jg penari saman lho...hehehe...sebenarnya utk jeritan2 itu memang ada,cm pada tarian ini memang jeritannya kurang pas saja,mungkin bisa sedikit lebih diatur aga terdengar lebih nyaman n menyatu dg syekh nya..

Waduh, kalo ada teks2 dan ilmu bisa di transfer tuh...pengaturan jeritannya sudah lumayan diatur, kita sekarang jarang latihan soalnya anak2 yang ada di video ini sudah sibuk kuliah tapi dalam sebulan pasti ada latihan. Thanks for the comment dan jgn lupa bagi2 ilmu ;)

saya pribadi tidak suka dgn jeritan itu, kayak di kebun binatang aja (MAAF). Terus, Saman yang asli tidak mencapur laki2 dan perempuan, dan tidak menjerit2 begitu.

not bad. but a little bit diffrent than Indo's saman. the 'laho tujan', 'salamualaikum' part, it's actually has a lot more moves than that, they're not really cohesive, they don't move their head, and scream too much. Who's the coreographer?

Hi primafun, thanks for the comment! This saman group was formed almost 3 years ago, this particular performance was one of our first "gigs" with basic cereography. The 2007 saman group has learnt alot more moves and new songs from profesional dancers from Indonesia. I will let you know when we post our new routine. About the coreographer,I guess i have to own up to that :( but its good promotion though,the bright side is that people in argentina knows more than just Bali.Thanks for the comment.
