  • its a sedan chopped up with a wagon rear end fitted. coil overs + wagon coolness. theres a video of them doing it pretty sure its on speedhunters, very cool

  • @selfishsound No its actually a wagon.

  • actually its pretty simple in theory its a sedan hacked up from behind the rear door and the rear of a wagon welded on. theres a video of them doing it on speedhunters i think coil overs all round + the bad assness of a wagon its a win win

  • OMG... triple tandem E70 corollas with 2 ae86s following.. such a beautiful sight.

  • Wow! Wicked! I always thought the KE72 had potential, but this just proves it!

  • Well, if by potential you mean that it can be modified for drifting, yes. But it`s not cheap to mod a ke70 into something like that, my guess is entire ae86 front and rear brake and suspension assemblies plus all the work of modifying and welding the chassis and body for that, plus a 4age, drivetrain, etc.

Those motorfix cars dont look like it, and you might not believe it, but they have at least 25-30 grand worth of modifications in order to keep up the lead ;)

  • On a wagon that is, a sedan or coupè would be a little cheaper as they have linked rear suspension out of the factory.

All this said, if you have a ke70 wagon, and have the desire and money to convert it to such a beast, go for it! :)

  • @ToreDL87 i have a ke70 wagon with ae86 coilovers in the front, front swaybars, RCAs, the works, and a 4age ready to go in as soon as i get time. all up spent around 5 to 6k. you're right, a sedan would have been a cheaper (and easier!) option, but the wagons are just so cool!

  • @skaterdeclan Wagons are WIKKID COOL! I've got a KE72 (stock, because it's not mine...yet)

  • @skaterdeclan Yeah xD Once you get it all set I think u`ll have the third known ke70 wagon with 4-link and ae86 susp/train/motor conversion. Do you have your build on a forum or something? I`d like to see :)

  • ^ i like this-those cars are definitely built.

to build one in the backyard-probably $9-$10k give or take 2 grand for the wagon to start.. ae86 coils fit up front without much fuss, a spring and shock combo will fit into the back-no worries about strut tower FAILness.

gut a wrecked GTS for the rest.

the chassis will survive w/o the welding, but nobody cool builds a wagon to be a stiff race car ;]

  • Wouldn't say 25....30....maybe around 6-7 at most.

  • thats awsome
