  • I agree that it would've been a better demonstration with a visibly dirty microwave. But aside from that, I will say this is how I clean my microwave and it works. It's a great way to loosen up cooked-on splatters so you don't have to scrub or use chemical cleaners. You don't want to use chemical cleaners inside your microwave because they'll leave residues that will vaporize and can end up in your food the next time you cook in the microwave.

  • it's easier to clean something that is already clean. Thumbs down expert village.

  • I hate invisible dirt.

  • my microwave looks like utter doodoo. Messy Mates.

  • 1:23 cat :) lol

  • Meowww.

  • Did she really need the gloves for that? lol

  • @Melzer71 hahahahahahahahaha

  • I taught I heard a puttytat

  • Seen other demonstrations using the same technique, only you suggested that we allow the steaming water to sit another few minutes, which proves to be helpful. Thanks for sharing.

  • been in the deep cleaning business for 7 yrs cleaned over 600 properties

To horses head 1 , find a microwave that hasnt been cleaned in 2 Years, and not a new one.

    stupid horse

    regards

    blow me

  • Water is a chemical.

  • Lets see how boiling water does with removing 4 month old melted cheese coating the bottom of my microwave.

  • wtf is this you must do it with vinegar its better then water

  • everything in your video is true and helpful, but visible dirt would have made a better demonstration...just a thought.

  • I do something similar to clean my microwave, but I add a few drops of dish soap in the water. It really cuts the elbow grease (and grease in general). Works like a charm!

  • that microwave isnt dirty

  • I know. Seriously, get a dirtier one to demonstrate w/. Good vid otherwise though

  • way to blink when you closed the door... bitch.

  • LOL

  • es una pendeja

  • After cleaning it with the aceton free nail polish remover, leave a bowl of water and some nice smelly herbs to boil inside and leave door closed 24 hours. I am so glad i found out this tip to clean burned yellow orangish microwave

  • My bf burnd some popcorns in the microwave and it became yellow and orange. I found great tip on the internet by using cotton balls and Aceton free nail polish remover. Repeat it several times and you will be amazed the microwave will look as if you just bought it

  • What if I have baked on cat?

  • That's not glass, it's pyrex. Glass is more likely to explode btw. Distilled water is fun.

  • Good idea, teach people to clean their microwaves by boiling water in PYREX that has been known to explode when put under heat.... smart!

  • You do know pyrex makes baking dishes etc, right? Glass will generally only break from heat when shocked, ie. taking a very hot piece of glass and suddenly adding cold water etc - or vice versa; and, when there is a crack in the glass before the heating starts, which then expands due to moisture.

  • I like to clean with vinegar, but hate the smell it leaves.

  • Is that what you call a dirty microwave!!

  • no doubt; it might be more effective to show a microwave that actually needs cleaning!

  • hahaha!

    well said!!

  • Nothing short of throwing a grenade in mine, would 'loosen up' most of my mess. LOL

  • Is it God commanding us? Or is it you? Assh*le

  • Well I guess putting a grenade in a microwave is a damnable offence

  • Thanks a lot for the video. I will test it out. Vinegar and lime options sounds great also. :)

  • This really works good. I also add some lemon juice to the water to give it a nice smell as well. Thanks alot for your videos. I love them!

  • Oh no, wots the micrwave doing up there!

Ah, i know, it thinks its part of the kichen unit.
