the fact have more that one rolex amazes me. i dream of having just one, and i want the relatively cheap ones - you know, the ones that are plain and don't have anything but the analog face and hands. maybe i'll buy a milgauss or just an oyster perpetual. anyway, one can't help but wonder how you got even three. if i'm intruding by asking these, i apologize, but: are they used? you got a high-paying job? gifts from rich friends? work for rolex? should i assume the worst?
ah. nonetheless, i ask that you excuse me. i'm not even done high school yet, and so i can hardly imagine affording it. still, if i ever get to buy a rolex, it's going to be full up in cash, and i'll make sure it's the real deal.
@motownazn It's pretty much an investment that you make. Yes, several people can buy Rolex, but the question is: what will they have to deprive themselves from, or what are they going to have to cut in their budget? So instead of getting yourself a car for example after having saved 8 or 9 grand (possibly around 7 grand too), you get yourself a Rolex.
I have a Submariner, a Datejust and a Daytona. There are definitely delicate ticks in each movement, although extremely fast that make it appear to sweep. The 4130 (Daytona) and 3135 (Sub) movements 'tick' at 28,800bph (beats per hour). If it's quiet, I can actually hear the movement humming if I hold the watch to my ear.
it's luminova, it bearly need to be exposed to room for 15-20 second to glow like that my explorer II glow 3 times as bright for 2 minutes of outdoor light or a good flashlight for 2 seconds
Are the crystals aftermarket? Because the date magnifier looks somehow not original. It should magnify the date by the factor 2.5 but it looks more like 1-1,5 here.
Original, (appraisal just completed last week by authorized dealer actually) but some of the shots look weird as they were taken by different cameras and different lenses. A) still shots by a Nikon D200 DSLR, B) video was shot in 16:9 HDV widescreen w/ Sony HC7 both with regular stock lens, macro mode, and .7 wide angle lens.
excuse..is there anyone know this theme song?

May I ask where you had this modification done? This would be massively useful on my Submariner.
fishrule1942 1 year ago
@fishrule1942 There's no modification to these watches

I guess the Lume is just alot better on newer Rolexs. Mine is about 25 years old now.

I know at least a couple of models shown on this video are fake. The cyclops had the wrong magnification and the marking is off.

Ignorance.
And to think, it could have been avoided simply by reading previous comments that addressed this.

Neither one of you two know what you're talking about. EIGHT beats per second.. not five and certainly not continuous.
