Is there anywhere downloadable owner's manual for this car (I would even buy one if there is)?! I went throughout the web and couldn't find it (only found in Bulgarian and Polish language).
*** Isnt that impresive ?! In 5th gear i have done 190 km/h with 5.800 rpm and i suppose that it can reach 200km/h !! if you cant imagine how the killometers are in real life then you can divide them km/h / 1.608 to be precisly !!sorry for my bad english ! thanx for your time !! safety first buddies !! ( this account is not mine ) !! cheers to all ! have fun !
@aekpunx21 haha, thanks. This one is the 1 litre model, so it's a bit slower LOL, 0-60 in 14.1 seconds. I haven't really tested that, but it seems about right. I love driving it, my only complaint is that the cabin noise is quite loud at motorway speeds and it feels less stable at those speeds (unsurprisingly). I really love the digital dashboard though, that's epic :D
Mate , i own a toyota yaris 1.3 '04 model , which was designed by Sotiris Kovos ( i am greek , isnt it obvious ?? :D ) and i'd like to post some more infos . Well , mine , does 0-60 in 10.2 secs and i have a top speed of... hmmm..well i have never reached 6.200 rpm with 5th gear cause of the non-aerodynamic shape of the car , but the most interesting of all is the km/h that every gear reaches ! For example : 1st gear : 56 km/h , 2nd gear 105 km/h , 3rd gear 151km/h 4th gear 186km/h !! ***
I went throughtout web and I can't find it anywhere. I need Yaris 2003 petrol 1.0 hatchback owners manual. I bought a car from Italy (it's great!), and I got a manual in Italian, but I need one in english (or serbian/croatian). Please give me an URL if anyone knows where I can download it, or send me an e-mail if you have PDF, DOC or whatever copy on talicdavor@hotmail.com
@talldude123 The hatchbacks were the only version offered on the European market. We never had the sedan or coupe. We did have the Yaris Verso though, but it isn't nearly as popular as the hatchback. And Dodge Neons aren't sold here, probably because of the red rear indicators/turn signals. We have a lot of French cars though, which you don't. Citroen C1s are quite popular here.
Hey, nice job of showing us the Toyota Yaris. I have never seen a 4dr one like that, I see most 2dr ones. You forgot to show us under the bonnet, and was there a radio? And you didn't honk the horn, or rev the motor. Car is in great shape for 7 years old and low miles for the year as well. So if that is your mum's car, where is your car?
@carman81usa Thanks. Yeah I forgot a few things and I'm planning on redoing this video with the extra things. I don't have a car at the moment, but when I get a part time job I'll buy it off her, and she'll probably get a new car. I have enough to buy a car but need a part time job to cover the running costs. I am insured to drive it though LOL. There was a radio and CD player, I'll cover those next time I have the car to myself.
Very wise to cover the licence plate. Never know what sort of weirdo stalker type is watching... They might know you live at 42b Centenary drive, Manchester. LOL
Awesome car and I love the color. That's an interesting gauge cluster. Do you prefer the gauges being offset like that and also using a display rather than physical gauges? And what does the rear fog light do lol?
I've always wanted to do a tour video of my jeep, but never have found enough motivation. Maybe I'll do one now after seeing this video.
@mattbjrs Yeah I like the gauges, the view never gets obstructed by the steering wheel (like normal gauges) and they are easier to read. The rear fog light is a European requirement (and also in Japan, I think). It is as bright as the brake lights and is used in thick fog, on dusty roads (dirt roads at night) and other situations where there is reduced visibility (except in rain, where it causes glare) There is usually 1 on each car (avoid confusion with brake lights). Some cars have 2.
@04smallmj That's cool. I don't even have forward facing fog lights but our region rarely gets any fog. And yeah my steering wheel blocks the top gauges occasionally. But the top ones aren't that critical to see all the time since it just shows the voltage and oil pressure.
@mattbjrs neither of my parent's cars have front fog lights and I've never needed to use the rear fog light, although I think a few Northern European countries (Sweden, Norway etc) get a lot of fog.
@Bryant5493 And I had to take the key out because otherwise it locks itself after about 30 seconds or so :( meaning that locking the keys inside is very easy to do.
@CAMINOANDALUZ It has no previous owners. It was used as a showroom car for 6 months. It isn't my car (at the moment) but I plan on buying off my mom when I get a part time job. And yes, I love the colour! See the description for for info.

Ive got a 1.0 VVTi, I love it. Great engine for a 1 litre, very free revving, typical 16v - top end torque, and it sips petrol.

Weird version of the Yaris. It's kind of like the Dodge Neon's with the power front windows and manual rears.

14.1 seconds from 0-60! That just would not due in America but its a good trade of for 50mph.
quatlen 1 year ago
@quatlen I know, that's pretty slow by American standards, but it means low insurance cost for me and our fuel is pretty expensive.
