  • 1:18 hurricane kick

  • I don't wanna fight whit this guys^^

  • I have never heard of this martial art before and it is different, but its seems to me that the continuous circular motion and balance would be helpful for when an attacks lands to be able to move with it and still land on your feet....like a cat....also it looks cool

  • vivaaaaaa capoeiraaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!

  • Só já esteve dentro de uma roda de capoeira é que já sentiu esse jogo de emoções ...é inesquecível ...

  • esta é a dança que comprou a liberdade do meu país, que os nativos treinados na prisão de ganhar há liberdade, Brasil

  • @Trollnumber12 @GenTortosine just cause your fat ass cant get off the bed doesnt mean this is fake

  • 2:47 haaaaaaaaaaaaa kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

  • Good dance!

  • Brasil

  • Very good

  • whats the name of the song playing at the beginning?

  • EXCELLENT!!!!

  • makes me proud to be brazilian! <3 :D

  • 1:18 - 1:20 minutes in the video. One of the baddest of kicks I have ever seen!

  • this is amazing!!!!! really awesome!!

  • they would be good ultimate fighters :D

  • That was beautiful. Absolutely mesmerizing. Half naked men dancing fluidly in martial arts style movements. What's to complain about?

  • Capoeira at first was a form of dance that the slaves would do around a fire (the roda)but secretly they was practicing martial arts within the dancing. The slave owners never knew they was practicing martial arts against them. King Dom Joao wanted to erase the origins of capoeira in Brazil in 1808. He didn't want the African culture to have a sense of nationality while they was enslave to them.

  • I need a place in ny. Possibly Brooklyn. Please give me recommendations. Thank you

  • Man I wish one of them unintendedly kick the face of any of them.. hahaah

  • Capoeira <3 I Miss it! :D Beautiful art

  • Do people really have to criticize these men?? Capoeira is a martial and a dance combined. I bet that 95% of the people that leave negative comments on this video or any other capoeira video has not done any martial art one day in their life.. Thumbs up if you do martials arts and agree! :)

  • @SBoo2624 hey your wrong... capoeira its not a dance combined....study capoeira before you talk shit....

  • @reinaldofonseca1981 Look, I am not gonna sit on youtube and fight with someone I dont even know... I dont want to deal with that... It is stupid and annoying anyway.. You can ask anyone, Capoeira is a Brazilian art form which combines fight, dance , rhythm and movement. So there you go.. I am not ignorant. I have studied in martial arts. I kinda know what I am talking about..

  • @SBoo2624 you dont have to tell me that because im capoeira graduated.. in terms capoeira you dont know shit compared to me...

  • @SBoo2624

    It's the same with Aikido...

Ignorant people only want to see aggressive martial arts such as Muay Thai or Krav Maga.

They're unable to see the beauty and potential in martial arts like Capoeira or Aikido...

  • @SBoo2624

    AGREE!

  • a black belt in capoeira comes with at least one girlfriend

  • Fascinating. Whatever you may think about it's effectiveness or practicality, capoeira is unlike anything else in the martial arts world and is part of Brazil's rich cultural heritage.

    Bravo guys.

  • Freaking EPIC!

  • 40 fucking lazy stupid fat rat asses disliked that -_- and if i`m wrong then post ur videos u bitches , it pisses me off how ppl can do nothing but criticize instead of moving their sorry asses and practice , damn lazy unhealthy world w`re gonna leave for our kids , other than that

Capoeira is not just a sport ,it`s a culture , a history , Greeting from Algeria north Africa , to all real martial artistes over the world

  • this looks like the scene from the jean claude can dam movie

  • so cool; this is mugen's fighting style. minus the limb cutting of course

  • i love it <3

  • Roflmao this shit is so weak it makes me lol. Look up Doeni if you want to see what a real beast is like. U can thank me later

  • @theendlesssuffering For you to say that this is week and asking us to check on Doeni is the same as saying that NBA is week and we should check college basketball.

  • @theendlesssuffering 1,766 likes 30 dislikes causes me to think no one cares. These guys have some amazing strength and control to do what they just did.

  • @FenrirRomulus Did you even look up Doeni?? This shit is weak and that's the bottom line. If these guys have amazing strength and control, I must be god then LOL.

  • @theendlesssuffering Yes, I did actually. I find there are a few flaws with how you compare the two. One: The man was alone without a partner, the fact that these young man are able to do this in pairs without hitting one another shows their precision. Two: The only thing I'm seeing from Doeni is flips that while are an amazing show of agility, does not match up with this at all Three: He works on a studio floor, not concrete and his movement does not have any flow with the music being played.

  • @theendlesssuffering vai tomar no cu, quer lutar contra esses caras? vai então mmas depois tambem nao chora, nao fode, ta achando que o estados unidos é o melhor lugar do mundo? enganado, aqui é favela porra!

  • This art in fighting form top class for speed an movment

  • 0:36 this guy is a boss

  • Beautiful! Absolutely beautiful!! (^_^)

  • That's awesome!!

I started Capoeira this year, how many years do you think I have to train to reach this level?

  • First of all, Capoeira is not a dance, but a fight. Here in Brazil we say that someone fights Capoeira (ele luta capoeira), not dance Capoeira. The fight was forbidden, only in the mid 20th that we learned to respect it as part of our culture

Also, everybody talk about Capoeira and only mention the African ppl and the slaves in America. But the Capoeira was highly influenced by the native (that weren't slaves). Even the name Capoeira is an expression in the indian languange, Tupi-Guarani

  • @jpcgl1810 Para falar a verdade, eu sempre ouvi "jogar capoeira", "play capoeira", and not "fight capoeira"

  • @jpcgl1810 E se vc acha q os indiginas n foram escravos foi mal, mas se precisa rever a historia do brasil =/

  • Comment removed

  • @lcg3092 eu preciso rever a historia? Entre escravidão indigena e africana, os portugueses optaram pela africana. Os indigenas trabalhavam por escambo no Brasil. Só os espanhois é que escravizaram os indigenas. Abraços

  • Amazing physical condition, really awesome and beatiful performance

  • strength 110

    agility 150

    accuracy 0

  • @jblnjbln ignorance 1,000,000,000

  • @kakuichi I was referring to gaming when I say accuracy 0, seeing that they "miss" all the time. Now you just assume that I don't see that they're doing it on purpose, as if I'm a retarded 12yo. I believe one youtuber got my joke, and several of you rushed on the conclusion that I'm ignorant and/or trolling.

  • @jblnjbln funniest comment i've read all day hahaha

  • @jblnjbln Consider this how accurate does one have to be to coordinate his/her kicks to swing together and NOT hit eachother? A score revision is required of you. -_-

  • can anyone translate what they are singing? so interesting! I have heard of the first song in Seoul, S. Korea.

  • rifado!!!!!!

  • how the heck did these brazilians come up with this effective dance style?

  • Oops! Posted the same thing twice! :)

  • Capoeira is a fine example of the resilience and strength of the African tribes that were transported all over the Americas during the slave trade. It clearly debunks the myth that no one with specialized skills or training was captured and brought to the Americas. Warriors have specialized skills, as do musicians, weavers, iron smiths, herbalists and mid-wivery--those were the highly skilled people that were taken out of Africa. Capoeira is a great preserved aspect of African ingenuity.

  • @kickboxer741 bro you came here just to talk shit? lol

  • @kickboxer741 MMA isn't an art...its a fight...capoeira is like a dance+fight

  • fuckin showoffs try gettin them in a real MMA cage and watch them get the shit knocked out of them that is fighting, with all respect capoeira is a show off martial arts but the real contact is in martial arts like muay thai, aikido and cage fighting :)

  • @kickboxer741 Dude. MMA. not actual fighting. this is a dance for many, not an actual fighting style. regardless, i'm extremely sure that the same bastards in MMA can learn just as much from capoeira as they can from fucking BJJ or Muay Thai.

  • @kickboxer741

  • Isso é capoeira de verdade!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Capoeira is the Best Proof that Africans had developed martial art as early as the south east Asians. The last true african martial arts left in the world are:capoeira(Brazil),Kounga(DRC,Benue congo region) and Dembe(Northern Nigeria.)it a shame that they are only taken as dances nowadays

  • @KratosaurusRex well, in the case of Capoeira, it was meant to look like a dance. Capoeira was developed by Brazilian slaves who wanted to learn to defend themselves but couldn't by any other means otherwise their masters would kill them. I kind of like the rhythmic dance-like nature of it though. It adds a community element that other marital arts lack. I bet you the guy who invented breakdancing knew at least some Capoeira.

  • @sirbee Well, I don't know if the earliest break dancers in the Bronx, NY had any actual ties to Brazil. I rather doubt it. However, there is a common cultural bond that unites those of African descent around the world. As an African-American myself, I can tell you, some things...like rhythm, are in the blood. lol Seriously though, the roots of Afrika are in all of it.

  • @sirbee they say it originates from AFRICAN dancing. There are very few african tribes who say they actually ha dances very similar to this. It was in brazil they transitioned it into a fight

  • @xIegionx ...UM, they say?.....the highest percentage of SLAVES who came from AFRICA came to BRAZIL!....so stop acting like they didn't make any contribution...In FACT Slaves in TRINIDAD created the steel pan, Soca, Calypso Music, Carniva......If you go to the ORIGINAL LAND: AFRICA, there are MANY Tribes that Celebrate through movements, dance, singing, chating drums.....and When you go ALL Over the WORLD, you will see a common trend with blacks...movements, dancing...

  • @16Mind I'm saying this because people believe it was invented only then in Brazil and had no root AT ALL in Africa other than it being made by Africans.

  • @sirbee breakdancing is derived from capoeira :)

  • @sirbee capoeira ê um jogo u.ú pesquisa mais >.<

  • @sirbee A correction if you will allow...African slaves that were transported to Brazil--contextually there is a difference. It was a way for the diaspora to disguise their sparring by way of dance so the European slavers would not beat, mar or kill them. Historically all martial arts possessed a community element as the styles were usually unique to the tribe or family that invented the style. This is why there are so many different elements and styles to what we now know as martial arts.

  • @sirbee I don't get it. So their masters wouldn't kill them, cuz even though they were being kicked in the face, as long as they were dancing with it, its ok? I don't understand the information you're trying to convey.

  • @nabi92484 maybe because its basically non contact, so no one was actually getting kicked in the face

  • brazilian break dance

  • @kingskullcruncher LMAO! you say you play with group in brasil? well on your channel you have videos with animals bumping each other and you are from usa, on your channel= I'am proud to be american!

  • I'm in training for Capoeira :)

  • Capoeira > Bboying. I heard breakdancing was actually inspired by it

  • @yendorification bboying (breakdancing) actually developed without ever seeing capoeira. i do both and i do enjoy capoeira more :]

  • 1:18 hurricane kick from street fighter

  • 1:17 Amazing!

  • worst fighting style ever, steet fighting beats this shit

  • @fightboxing4545 Maybe you're not understanding this is the dance portion of Capoeira, and not summarily the actual fight portion. Now if you still want to hold bias towards it, I could refer you to some videos that would prove you otherwise.

  • @fightboxing4545 men how can u give your opinion if you dont know anything about this style, and there is no ultimate fighting style so search info before writing with out fundaments

  • @fightboxing4545 men how can u give your opinion if you dont know anything about this style, and there is no ultimate fighting style so search info before writing with out fundaments

  • @fightboxing4545 hhaha yeah street fighting can beat capoiera thats why african slaves used this style to beat the shit out of their armed slave owners
